  • TPT For Extra Practice

    Funded May 13, 2024

My students and I cannot thank you enough. We so appreciate having all the extra practice Teachers Pay Teachers can provide. This year we used it for Linearizing practice and extra labs. Students love labs and so do I. Labs allow students to cement their understanding off physics concepts.

I use Teachers Pay Teachers to fill in when students need additional practice. Luckily I still have some left to be able to do that quickly as topics come up. Thanks to you we have this ability to quickly fill in gaps.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Taylor

  • Peace Garden Improvements and Halloween Extravaganza

    Funded Jun 17, 2024

This past Thursday and Saturday more than 25 students came out to plant the mums and cabbage plants. Thanks to Richfield Farms we got beautiful mums, and cabbage plants for the Peace Garden. It was hard workout we planted more than 16 mums and 24 ornamental cabbage plants. The Peace Garden is ready for fall.

We also got dirt and seeds for the Halloween Extravaganza. Later this month we will use then. Our Kindness in Plants students will be there helping out.

Thank you for making this project a reality. Thanks to Newman's Own Foundation for matching and making this project real.”

  • Summer Coding Class Odds & Ends Part 2

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so much for providing my summer coding class the tops, beads, and other supplies. They loved the light up tops as a reward for good behavior. The binary code project morphed into pixel images and we used almost all of the beads. The students have had a blast creating 3D grappling hooks, swords, and other pictures. One student even made a picture of her classmate.

Donors like you have made this class more fun and exciting. We cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity.”

  • Odds & Ends for Summer Coding Class

    Funded May 6, 2024

My coding students and I are very grateful for all the materials. You helped make our summer coding class a richer. We used the headphones almost every day to listen to music or coding videos. The batteries powered up a Botley coding robot that was fun for everyone. The notebooks helped store our passwords and binary code messages. My students loved coding a Dance Party and Minecraft. Coding helps students develop their logical thinking, sequencing and problem solving. The match also made it really easy to complete this project. Thank you so much!”

  • Additional Recycling Sites and Snacks for Hungry Recyclers

    Funded Apr 25, 2024

We are so grateful for the extra bags for recycling plastics, cans, and bottles. This allows us to expand recycling to additional classrooms. Currently we have 5 rooms and the cafeterias. This will allow us to go to more rooms

The snacks help feed the hungry recyclers and those weeding the Peace Garden. The water is to quench thirst on those hot days. Food is always appreciated.

Donors like you help our club recycle and do school and community cleanups. We cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity.”

  • Peace Garden Refresh

    Funded Apr 24, 2024

The Kindness in Plants Club is so grateful to be able to refresh the Peace Garden. After several hours of hard work in the hot sun they were able to plant all of these items we purchased at Richfield Farms and Gardens. We both planted and mulched a good portion of the garden.

The Peace Garden looks so much better and we were able to use some native plants that will attract bees, butterflies and birds. It was great to work with a local business to make this project happen. Students will now be able to go out and use the gardens to read or sit outside for lessons

Donors like you make our school a better place.”

  • Kindness in Plants Recycling Project 1

    Funded Feb 18, 2024

We at Kindness in Plants want to thank you for providing the tissues, laminating sheets, markers and for our club. We have been able to use the laminating sheets to create some signage for additional recycling sites at our school. This means more stuff stays out of the landfill.

Your kindness and generosity have helped make sure we have plenty of Kleenex both for the club and the class. When we are out doing cleanups we often need a box of Kleenex for allergies. The markers let them make gorgeous plant designs for our club meetings.”

  • Minor Emergencies Part 3

    Funded Jan 14, 2024

My lovely ladies appreciate your helping them out. There is nothing worse than getting your period unexpectedly in school. It can lead to embarrassement. The underwear along with pants from another project ensures we can get them back to class as quickly as possible. Thanks to your kindness and generosity my girls will miss less school.

My students are always surprised that people that do not even know them will help them out. It gives them the warm fuzzies that someone else cares. We cannot thank you enough for being so caring and wonderful.”

    With gratitude,

  • Pants for Minor Emergencies Part 2

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

My students and I are extremely grateful for the pants. We have all had a bad moment where we needed a new set of clothes to continue the day. Thanks to your generosity my students don't have to wait for someone to come from home. Sometimes no one is available to come and help out and students would miss the whole day. This gets them back to class quicker and makes their absence less noticable. People like you renew my students faith that there are good people willing to help out. Thank you for being awesome!”

  • Pants for Minor Emergencies

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

My students and the nurses are so happy to have all of these pants. The students are thrilled to have an option when an emergency strikes. We have all been there when we spilled something or a period came early. This allows students to get back to class as soon as possible.

We are grateful to donors like you. Your caring and kindness sometimes surprises the students. They cannot believe that strangers will help them out. I thank you for showing them that people are good and helpful. You are amazing.”

Another new year! Science is about doing! I like to have my students do projects throughout the year. These projects allow them to investigate and apply scientific knowlege. This takes many supplies. Our school is great about providing the basics, but activities require many different items.
