My 8th grade students are inquisitive, bright, and eager to learn. Their only limitation lies in the area in which they live. They live in a very low socioeconomic area on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Their school is a Title 1 School, where over 50% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My core objective as an educator is to promote authentic and meaningful teaching to my 21st century learners.
