My students are kind, creative, and eager to learn. I teach students in grades 3-8 who have learning disabilities. Many of my students came to me 5+ grade levels below in reading; to say we are working hard to catch them up is the understatement of the year. Many of them come from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, but they come to school with a positive attitude anyway. They inspire me to be a better teacher and person.
