  • Pencils, Erasers, Makers, Oh My!

    Funded Aug 16, 2017

Thank you all so much for your generous donation! The materials that were purchased through your donations have helped my classroom tremendously! Every student in my classroom now has their own set of headphones which allows them to listen to stories online. These headphones will be used by future classes as well. The paper is probably the biggest help in my room. Not having to worry if there is going to be enough paper at school to make the copies I need for my students is a huge relief. Even the little things that were purchased were a huge help. Everything from the staples to the tape to the dry erase markers and erasers is going to make a difference in my classroom this year. I am incredibly thankful to everyone who generously donated to my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Beg

  • Meeting Area

    Funded Oct 31, 2016

Thank you so much for the generous donation you have made to my classroom. Providing my students with a comfy place to sit and learn has been a huge help in my classroom. The students use the carpet to work together on so many different things. They are able to sit and read there, they are able to get on computers, and they are able to work together and play educational games.

In my classroom, we do stations. Students are able to travel around the room and work on different things during a block of time. With the addition of the carpet, the students no longer have to sit on the floor to be at their stations. They have an actual place to sit that is far more comfier.

Thank you again for your generous donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Beg

Thank you for considering our page. My students are an amazing group of kids, and even though they face many challenges and struggles, they are lifelong learners who strive for success. I teach in Ferguson, MO. The school I work at is a Title I school with 100% of students on free and reduced lunch. The majority of the population we serve is of low socioeconomic status with high rates of poverty. Despite all of this, our students come to school every day with an eagerness to learn. My goal is to provide my students with the resources and materials they need in order to be successful, lifelong learners. Thank you for helping us make our goals a reality.
