  • Let Me Chromebook!

    Funded May 13, 2019

    We are very thankful for this opportunity to have extra Chromebooks in our classrooms. We are able to use them during centers to do our reading program and math program. We are also going to be able to work on small research papers that we get to work on later on the year. We are super excited to be able to use it for EPIC! which is a reading program that can have kids listen to stories. Thank you for funding this project and helping us achieve another goal for this year.The Chromebooks helps us a lot when we need to do RTI in small groups. While some are busy the others are working on the Chromebooks.”

  • Let Me Get Creative!

    The students and I were super excited when we got our project funded because now we can be creative and learn different ways we use art. When I told my students will be using watercolor pain for the first time, I could see their face light up with happiness because it would be something they have not done. We are grateful we can share and explore new ways to create and be creative in our own way. The art supplies will help us create an amazing new year filled with art activities that will unleash their own creativity. Thank you for helping my students use art supplies for the first time.”

  • Let Me Get That Whiteboard!

    We are so blessed with our donations. I want to say thank you for helping us. My students and I were super excited when we found out we were funded for a project. It was hard when we did not have whiteboards because I like to make hands on activities. I also have them practice drawing shapes or other things that we are working on during our lesson. Since, we have the Magnetic center stand up the students love using it during our math block. I can tell they are more engaged and like to participate more because they have a chance now to do it. They were super excited when we received our materials, once again thank you for helping us.”

  • Let Me Seat!

    I wish you guys could of seen my students face. They were so happy to know they have a spot when I say"come to the carpet, please"

    There is no misbehavior because each of my students have a spot to seat quietly and ready to learn. When we are doing carpet time they have more time to learned than to talk with others. It made them feel happy and appreciated. We are so happy to have had our project funded by ripple. We appreciated because the students know it was really important for us to have a new carpet.”

  • Let Me Teach You About Technology!

    My students and I are super excited for our project being fund. They were so excited when they found out we were having technology to use in the classroom when investigating or enhancing out learning with letters, sounds and numbers. I am going to use for our centers mostly or when we need to search the web. One of the main reasons I asked for kindles is because I know technology can help us record and learn more about what we have questions about. Also, to have some of my students hear more songs and hear books while there in their centers. We are so thankful for Chevron for funding it.”

The Kindles will help my students by reinforcing what we have been learning in class. For example, students could use audio books and www.storylineonline.net to use these tablets as a listening center in the classroom. I would also be able to download some of the reading, math, and science apps to further student learning, and allow them to earn prizes like game time on the Kindles for good behavior. The Kindle Fire will benefit us more by learning while doing online learning. I think if we get them, it would increase classroom engagement because they will be ready to learn and do well in the classroom.
