  In my new role as Math Instructional Coach, I have opened these materials to Pre K - Algebra students to enjoy. Using them for centers and small group instruction has helped close post-pandemic gaps.

  When I brought these games into the Math Classrooms and in my own Academic Tutorials (After School) students were excited to work on the skills they need because it was fun! Incorporating these activities have opened students' hear to Math and Financial Literacy. They never imagined Math can be so fun!

  Students knew me as the "Math Coach with Fun Games". Students poured into my office to ask to play games or when can they be pulled for Math Bunch where ultimately we played games and reviewed skills!

• Whiteboards for Math!

  Funded Mar 13, 2018

  We used the whiteboards as immediate as their arrival. Currently, we are learning the probability of simple and compound events. I decided to make a bag of marbles distribute it amongst their groups and together we wrote the probabilities of various events. Each student took a whiteboard and wrote their answer. When the timer buzzed they all lifted their boards proud to display their answer, looking around and discussing how they arrived at their conclusion. I noticed not only were students excited to participate and learn but it got them talking about Math! This wouldn't be possible without your generosity. We are eternally grateful !!! It is because of your kindness that things such as these are possible!
