Young Scholars Portfolio 24'-25'
Funded Nov 18, 2024Words can't describe how thankful my 2nd-grade students are for your generous giving toward the portfolio binders. Students cherish and take pride in different projects they work on all year, and thanks to you, they can keep them all in one binder to appreciate. Their writing of different genres, art projects, thematic unit projects, and photos of them celebrating and enjoying learning will all be remembered by the students and praised by their families. Thanks again for providing such meaningful gifts to my students.”

Funded Aug 14, 2024First of all, thank you so much for your generous giving towards the Back to School Essentials project.
The beginning of each year requires many new supplies, and thanks to you, we have started the new year with new folders, name tags, and other supplier that will help our students thrive in Second grads.
The work folders and vocabulary folders have been helping students keep their work organized and easy to locate. The labels will be used to group the students for small group interventions and classroom jobs.
Thanks for making a difference in our kids' education!”

Funded Aug 31, 2023Thanks to your generous donation, every student in my Second grade Korean dual language class got a portfolio binder where they can accumulate their wonderful work.
The binders are visible in the classroom where students are free to revisit their work, and also appreciate each other's achievements in class. Sharing work is so important for them because they really model good work, and inspire and motivate to improve each other's work.
At the end of the year, their portfolio will become their second grade memory book.
Thank you again for your giving heart.”

Clean Classroom Project
Funded Apr 13, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our clean classroom project. Thanks to your donation, we got a cordless vacuum cleaner to pick up daily dust and dirt from the class floor. Personally, It saves my morning prep time by vacuuming instead of dust mopping.
Clean learning environment is so important to keep our kiddos healthy and the new vacuum cleaner is helping us in a great deal.
We truly appreciate your care for our learning and helping us learn and grow in a clean classroom.”

Healthy Future
Funded Feb 14, 2022Thank you so much for helping us get new P.E. equipments. It is important to include P.E activities in our school curriculum to promote healthy mind and body, and your generous donation made P.E more fun and engaging. Students are developing eye and hand coordination with catch-ball cones. With the set of rubber balls, students are exercising their large motor skills by tossing, catching, bouncing, and dribbling the balls, but most of all, they love playing dodgeball and four square. Thank you for your support in physical Ed.”

New Printer Project
Funded Dec 3, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations towards my recent New Printer Project. Our class received HP wireless printer and we have been using it to print out various activity sheets to reinforce Kindergarten skills in reading, Math, and other content areas.
Although our classroom is set up for hybrid learning this year, the little Kindergartners still need to practice writing and cutting papers to develop their fine motor skills.
It's also great for me as a teacher to be able to use the print outs as assessments.
We are very grateful for your support!”

Funded Nov 10, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our new projector. With the new projector, students can now view visuals and slides more clearly. That has been helping my English learners tremendously because visual aids can assist them to make better meaning of unknown texts across the curriculum. All students love learning contents from video clips projected on the screen and technology integration has been an effective way to get students excited about learning.
It means so much to all of us that you care about our learning in Kindergarten.”
