Great Readers Make Great Leaders!

The products that are chosen are diverse and will meet the needs of the 21 Century Learner. They are designed to address the visual, tactile, and auditory learner and allows me to differentiate my instruction in a fun and meaningful way. Some of the products that I have chosen, require the students to be actively engaged in learning, and will be utilized in collaborative learning stations. The set of reading comprehension games are intended to captivate the students attention, increase their ability to comprehend the text, target specific skills, such as making inferences, summarizing the text, identifying the main idea,using context clues and text evidence to aid comprehension. The items that are chosen will develop a love for reading in a fun, yet educational way. Finally, the use of the comprehension folders with the erasable pens will be used during small group instruction. It will allow me to immediately assess a student's comprehension and give feedback.
