  • Working Headphones for Everyone!

    Funded Feb 13, 2022

Thank you for helping fund this project. My students were extremely excited to see the new headphones. Students finally have headphones that are operational and comfortable to wear.

We are now able to complete digital tasks independently at individual paces. Students can be working on different tasks without being distracted by the noise.

Just in the short time since receiving the headphones, there has been growth in student work. The concentration level of students is improving every day along with their quality of work. My students now have an upward trajectory.

Again thank you for all you have done for my students.”

  • Studies Weekly to Study Weekly

    Funded Jul 6, 2019

My students are enjoying the opportunity to use technology to learn and engage with science. Many students choose to read on Studies Weekly when finished with their classwork. My struggling students can have the articles read to them and participate in class discussions.

The excitement in their faces while watching a video lesson about DNA is amazing. Students are learning to interact with technology for learning.

Thank for giving this technology to my students. It truly has changed the way my students think about science.

The National Geographic Kids books are constantly in the hands of a student. These have to be the favorite books in our classroom library.”

  • Amazing STEM Challenges and Activities

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Problem-solving is a struggle for many fourth grade students. Since the addition of the STEM read-aloud books and projects, my students are beginning to blossom. Instead of saying "I can't!" they are saying "I let's try this".

Leaders are emerging from the unexpected students. My students are believing in their ability to overcome learning obstacles.

Students are excited to see what we will be doing on STEM day. They want to continue working on the project all day. They are engaged in the learning process.

I can not thank everyone enough for making this opportunity possible for my students.”

    With gratitude,

  • Let's Go STEM!

    Funded Aug 29, 2018

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity you have provided my 4th graders to practice valuable STEM skills. Your generous donations helped to provide several STEM activities that the students can take home and us during the cold winter months. Not only will these games benefit this year's 4th graders but many years to come!

The students are so appreciative to be able to practice in a hands-on and engaging way. They are able to take the games home and share with their parents what they are learning in class!

It is with much appreciation that I write this letter thanking you for your part in these children's education. The value of what you have contributed toward does not have a dollar amount because it is priceless. Thank you."”

  • Table Team

    Funded May 10, 2018

Thank you for helping my students have quality tables to work at this year. My students came in the first day of school in awe of the new tables. Their eyes were wide with excitement.

Quality tables have changed the classroom atmosphere. It feels safe and inviting now. Their tables are no longer wobbly and cracked. It is amazing how something like tables can impact the learning environment.

Students are enjoying the dry erase paper tables to complete their math assignments or take notes while reading. These tables really have changed the trajectory of my classroom”

  • Technology for Everyone!

    Funded Aug 25, 2016

I want to thank everyone who donated to my project. The new chrome books have been a huge success. The students use them almost every day. Students who need a little extra instruction can now access software programs. Students that are on grade level or above have been doing research projects. Everyone has been practicing their type skills. We write stories and then type the story to display.

Without you my students would not been getting the necessary skills to reach their full potential and become a productive community member.”

  • Supplies For Learning With Art At School And Home

    Funded Jun 12, 2016

Thank you so much for choosing to help my class. My students were excited to the supplies. With wide eyes and open mouths, they could not wait to get to work. It is a blessing to see that my students get excited with the little things. We are busy publish our writing. Students have already began taking supplies home to make their project the best it can be. You have made learning to write fun for this group of students.

Students will continue to write. With the new supplies we can make boring research projects fun and exciting. We are planning to create a living museum to display our work on famous people from Arkansas. Can't wait to start this adventure. Thank you again for making this project a reality.”

My students come from a low-income rural area. They do not have the opportunity to access technology at home. There are many locations in the area where Internet is not available. The only chance these students have to gain 21st century career skills is during the school day. However, 20 minutes a day when the computer lab is available is not enough time to develop the necessary skills to be career ready.
