I currently teach in a Title I school in Washington, D.C. We serve a majority low-income students and families. With every experience my students come into school with each and every day, they show up ready to learn and ready to grow. We have cultivated a classroom of caring, thoughtful, and hardworking students who make me smile and challenge me on the daily. They have helped me grow as a teacher, a learner, and a person. My students are my constant inspiration. They take care of each other, care about their community, and have inspiration aspirations for their futures. I hope to be able to continue helping them along their journeys as they come through 4th and 5th grade English Language Arts with me.
