The Who is? and What is? book series are fun and easy to read. My students like these books because they have good information about a certain person or place in history. The books have illustrations that help students understand the text.
My students can finish a book in 2 to 3 days because they enjoyed reading the ones I have in the classroom; they enjoyed them so much they want to get a new one to read. Sometimes they have to wait until another student finishes one, since I only have a few. These series will be a good addition to my classroom library!
