  • Who is?, What is?, Where is?

    Funded Dec 21, 2024

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support of the books in my classroom. The impact that these resources have had on my students is immeasurable.

Through these Who is?, Who was? series, my students have not only expanded their imaginations but also developed a greater love for learning. Books have opened doors to new worlds, sparked meaningful conversations, and encouraged critical thinking in ways I could never have anticipated.

Your contribution has given my students more than just words on a page—it has given them the gift of possibility. Whether it's seeing a child's face light up as they discover a new favorite book or witnessing their excitement as they share what they've learned, the impact is clear. Books are transforming the way they view the world and themselves.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • Chromebook Organization!

    Funded Dec 16, 2024

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your generous donation to my project. Your support means the world to me and my students and will make a lasting impact on my their daily routine.

It is through the kindness and commitment of people like you that I am able to continue my work and make a positive difference. This project has made transitions and routines easier and my students are grateful to have a place where to keep their chromebooks organized.

Once again, thank you for your generosity and for being such an important part of our community.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • Digital Resources Help Us Grow!

    Funded Aug 22, 2024

I want to thank you for your donation and kindness. The resources obtained through this project will help students work digitally. In our classroom we use apps like google classroom where I assign projects and assignments ad students have to work on them through google apps.

Through this project I am able to purchase resources already made for these apps, this makes learning so much easier and students are able to show what they have learned.

Without your help, I would have to spend more time creating and grading these assignments. Thank you so much for this and for caring.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • New Teacher, New Resources

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

I am so thankful for you donations and how this has created an impact in my classroom. This year I was so lost because I was moved from a grade level that I taught for many years down to third grade bilingual. I had scarce resources to implement digitally at their level so my students could do work using their iPads.

Because of your help I am able to develop engaging lessons that I can display on my newpanel so students can follow the pacing for the day and have visuals.

I can create assignments for them to work on Google classroom and work at home and at school. It is also easier to assess them and grade them on their work.

I am so grateful for your help and your interest in education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • Emotions Through A Little Spot!

    Funded Dec 3, 2023

The materials received are a big contribution to my classroom library. They are also used for my social emotional learning lessons. Their favorite book series is "A Little Spot of Holidays" I have been able to create lessons for empathy, self-love and acceptance using these books.

The students enjoyed them so much and read them during our small group rotations. They also like to draw the "spots" from the stories to create their own characters. I want to say thank you once again for contributing to this project and believing in a teacher like me!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • Ready to Charge/Learn!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

I really appreciate your donations for my project. This project has been a huge success! The iPad charging station has been so useful this year. When my students need to charge their iPad so they can work in class, they get to charge their iPad and then be able to use it. The district provides them with the iPad and a charger, but sometimes the chargers get broken or for any other reason they can't charge their iPads at home. The charging station helps them be ready for any work or assessments. There are no excuses for the not completing work. We really are thankful for your commitment to education and for helping make this possible.”

  • Stories to Inspire!

    Funded May 14, 2023

I want to thank you for your donations for this project. This project "Stories to Inspire" has a special meaning for me and my students. These books have being a great asset to my Dual language classroom, my students have the opportunity to read about Hispanic trailblazers and books that are both in English and Spanish. Students can read about people like them that have contributed to this country and to the world.

I am forever grateful for your support to this special project and for thinking about education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • Digital Resources a Must!

    Funded Aug 17, 2022

Thank you very much for your donations. You generosity has been a great impact for our classroom. The resources I was able to purchase with your donations have been very helpful in teaching and learning for my students.

This year we have been focusing on assessing students using technology more than ever. The shortage of paper in our schools makes it hard to make copies for all students, I have to rely on online platforms to assess and teach skills.

Students can use the resources in our Google classroom and be able to turn in work digitally.

I am so grateful to count on people like you that care and help others that are in need.

    Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

  • Language Skills Through STEM

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

I am so thankful for your donations and your willingness to help my classroom. This project has worked amazing in my class and using these materials with my English Language learners have been very helpful.

The digital materials allowed students to work at school and from home. Students were able to increase their creativity and communication skills through collaboration. Students improved their language skills in the four domain areas reading, listening, writing and speaking.

Most students like to work on the ipad and use the resources to learn and to collaborate with each other.

I am so grateful that you were able to be part of this learning and my students are so grateful for this.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Salmeron

The Who is? and What is? book series are fun and easy to read. My students like these books because they have good information about a certain person or place in history. The books have illustrations that help students understand the text. My students can finish a book in 2 to 3 days because they enjoyed reading the ones I have in the classroom; they enjoyed them so much they want to get a new one to read. Sometimes they have to wait until another student finishes one, since I only have a few. These series will be a good addition to my classroom library!
