My students live in a high poverty neighborhood where their families struggle to meet their basic needs. They do not have extra money to support things like reading, spellilng, and acquiring language skills. Even with the challenges they face, my students are interested in reading. In my classroom, I work hard to expose them to good literature but as a first year teacher, my resources are limited. Please consider supporting my efforts to help my students gain access to literature.
