The Fuel Your School challenge allowed my students to have quicker access to the internet and the ability to gain and practice important college and career readiness skills. In addition to technological literacy, they'll be able to access current news and e-books that used to be out of reach.     Thank you donating books to our class and Mrs.Munoz too. We love reading and we use independent reading time in class every single day. I'm currently reading the Hunger Games series but can't wait until our class reads All American Boys. Mrs.Munoz keeps telling us that it's really relevant to what's happening in the news and what we talk about on current event Wednesdays in her class. I know that we couldn't have read these books without your help and although I've never met you but I hope you can come and visit us soon.”

As a teacher of over 100 students, I often struggle with giving students in-depth feedback on their essays with a quick turnaround time. I often have to choose between getting their essays back to them sooner or providing personalized, detailed feedback. Having classroom access to 5 Chromebooks would allow my students the opportunity to have quick access to the Internet for essay-writing research and the ability to engage in real-time essay editing both with myself and their peers. Students can also continue their learning through Internet courses and even gain access to additional college credit! Technology can open so many doorways for them!

About my class
