"Organization is not about perfection. It is about efficiency, reducing stress and clutter, saving time and money, and improving their overall quality of life." -Christina Scalise My classroom has no desks, we have tables-the students have nowhere to store their things. There are pros and cons to this. The pros to having tables is that we can provide a better atmosphere to foster group interactions, sharing and community learning. The cons to having tables is that the students have no where to store their personal belongings such as their book bags, notebooks and folders. Seat sacks will help my students store their materials and teach them how to keep their space organized. Since students have nowhere to store their things, pencils are always rolling off tables and getting on the floor. Pen Pal holders will be a solution to this problem in our classroom. They will help the students have a place for their pencils! The class will run much more efficiently when they can find a pencil right away. With these materials, my students will practice being responsible, organized and neat.
