A Growth of Mind Leads to Joyful Heart
Funded Aug 23, 2024My students surprisingly listened as I presented and explained to them about all the amazing items we have received from wonderful people who care about them. Seeing the smiles from my students it is always a very special experience, but seeing how their eyes brighten up is an experience that lets me know the child's brain is ignited, ready to take a challenge. Fo example, the amazing i-pad was something I noticed students could not believe is for them to use and show up their math work or use for peer tutoring. It is so nice to see students write math so smoothly with the apple pencil.
Also, the students are always appreciative of snacks, and not to mention those who stay for tutoring after school. So, thank your for allowing me to see those smiles of happiness. Those gummy bears are like magic, they make students become enthused about doing some algebra.
Thank you for allowing me to see the sparks in their eyes as they use the technology you provided to them. The sweet snacks makes them sweeter.”

Funded Sep 1, 2020I am so grateful now that there is much more flexibility when writing. The Apple pen together with my iPad have made this experience possible. Explaining mathematical concepts to my students has become a smoother process. The pen allows me more quality control when presenting material to my students. Anytime I need to mark, write, or draw the Apple pen makes it very easy.
The Apple pen in conjunction with the iPad has given me and my students the chance to experience a sense of being in the classroom. Thanks to your generosity
teaching and learning have reached a new height from a distance.”

Funded May 14, 2019Some of my students in 6th period math class were quick to ask me for pencils after I had told them I had received classroom materials such as pencils, regular tape shipping tape and showed them the box. With the readily available materials that you have provided, students can now do the following: Repair their damaged notebooks, color activities, help themselves with pencils if forgotten at home. Students can now label their folders and use the regular tape to keep together cutouts in place. I really appreciate you time and donation. The labeling tape is being very much appreciated as students now can see different folders being labeled according to weeks so they can find work when they are absent or need to redo.
You are making a big difference in students' education.”

Funded Jul 14, 2015Thank you for making my long time dream to help my students benefit from having an effective smart board projector. This projector you have donated to my students, once installed, it will bring many exciting moments leading to positive learning results. Due to this wonderful gift, students will be able to access the wonderful math learning tools readily available on-line in a very easy and comfortable manner.
The most amazing opportunity that this projector in conjunction with smart board will provide to my students is the ease to interact with smart board and with other classmates, and will definitely help them create a learning community/environment.”

Let's Help our Kids Ease their Math Learning
Funded Feb 26, 2015I am very humbly thanking you for giving my students what they need in order to help them increase their skills in mathematics. It is wonderful now to see my students get their coordinate planes on their notebooks with so much ease. They like stamping and I like how neat the coordinate planes and graphs end up looking on their notebooks . Also, when it comes to learning statistics or probability my kids enjoyed experiencing the fun and effective activities. Once provided with the exploration sheets and dice or chips my students quickly get into the recording of data. Lastly, I want to let you know that when headphones and paper arrived kids already knew it was for them, but still could not hide a face of wonder. It is now much easier to have them make use of Khan Academy lessons when they or I don't have to fetch for earphones or headphones from others. There are no words to explain my special feelings to see my students happy and appreciative of knowing there are headphones and other resources readily there for them to use because there are people like you who care about their education.”
