My students are innovative, young,creative and have many different styles of learning. As a teacher I want to expose them to many ways of learning. Technology will allow them to be exposed to books and reading programs that contain and specialize in phonics, fluency, basic math , problem solving, logical thinking letter recognition, and sounds .These skills build upon reading and math word problems. Having technology will allow me to find grade level and performance level activities that will increase my students confidence and academic performance. I have students that are shy and will benefit greatly from listening to a story and watching it on screen as opposed to me reading a book. Some of my children have never left the city of Memphis, so having the opportunity to use technology can take them anywhere in the world they want to go, just by clicking a button. We are ready to learn new things.
