Welcome to Mr. Wilson's 7th and 8th Grade STEM Makerspace at Cholla Middle School! Our classroom is a hub of creativity and innovation, where about 140 students engage in hands-on learning each semester. In the spring, we welcome another 120-140 eager learners. Our Makerspace covers diverse STEM subjects, ensuring our students gain essential skills for the future: Coding: Students learn programming fundamentals, enhancing problem-solving skills. Engineering: Projects explore principles from designing structures to mechanics. Robotics: Students build and program robots, fostering teamwork and technical skills. Digital Citizenship: We teach responsible online behavior and digital ethics. Online Safety: Students learn to navigate the internet safely and protect privacy. 3D Printing: Projects bring designs to life, enhancing creativity and manufacturing understanding.
