My school is located in a rural community. We are one of the poorest middle schools in the district. We are a Title I school of approximately 800 students. Through a government subsidized program all of my students are on free lunch and breakfast. Our attendance zone includes a domestic violence safe house, so for some students, school is the most reliable constant in their lives.
