• Menstruation Station

• A Sprouting Garden

  With your generosity, our class has been able to spend precious time in the garden taking brain breaks, appreciating nature, and exploring the world around them. We have planted tomatoes, carrots, and sunflowers and are excited to see them sprout within the next few months. The students feel a shared sense of responsibility when it comes to growing their own food and planting seeds. Because of your donations, we will be able to produce our own food and keep our school's garden well-maintained. Some of the students do not have access to a backyard or garden at their home and with this, they can do something new that is enriching and exciting.

  When we planted the seeds this past week, there were so many students that came up to me and wanted to plant. I saw a light that went on for some of them that portrayed true enthusiasm. Throughout the week they continued to ask when we were going to spend time in the garden next. It is something to look forward to and a time to get their bodies moving. I found joy in seeing so many of the students come to life while working with the Earth, and with that I cannot thank you enough for your donations. Thank you!!!”

• Health and Happiness!

  Your generous donations made a great impact on our classroom. We were able to keep the classroom clean and tidy. The students had all that they needed!! With the health supplies the students were able to come to school comfortably knowing that their learning space was clean and sanitized. The hand sanitizer monitors are extra excited about the donations!! We have been using all the resources that we were able to get funded!!

  The students had so much fun with the Fitbit and seeing how many steps they got with their activity being tracked. They also cannot wait to get out to the playground to use the jump ropes. Because of the jump ropes, I have seen a great increase in class comraderies and physical education participation.

• Math is Marvelous

They will have all the supplies and tools to access an amazing writers workshop and flexible seating work spaces. New opportunities are now open to the students with these new tools.
