Let's Move Our Bodies!
Funded Aug 8, 2023We are so excited to start our new unit on exercise. Throughout this unit, our students will learn about the different types of exercises, how our bodies work, what they need when we exercise, and how we stay safe while exercising.
The exercise equipment will help us transform part of our classroom into a gym where children can go to exercise, drink or eat nutritious snacks, and meditate.
We will also have books that will be used to teach students about how people around the world exercise. These books will also help explain how and why we should exercise to keep our bodies healthy!

Some of our students do not have access to an adequate supply of personal hygiene products or clothes at home, affecting their health, confidence, and ability to focus on academic tasks. This is why we started (at the initiative of a student) a place where students can get what they need at no cost to them.
Thanks to you, this project will provide the items necessary to keep our students well-groomed, and germ-free and would make them feel good about themselves.

Funded May 16, 2023Thank you so much for helping us getting a speaker that we can hear. The speaker helps us listen better when projecting anything from the screen. It makes it easier to listen to the sound that is coming out of the computer. We are able to carry the speaker outside and listen to music during PE or an outdoor event. Sometimes you want to play calming sounds after an exciting day, and now we have a speaker to use.
We will use our speaker many times daily for read-aloud, GoNoodle, Blooket, and Kahoots. Having this speaker will allow us to play part of our read alouds. Thank you so much.”

Reading Is Fun!
Funded Mar 30, 2023My students come from backgrounds far and wide. They often struggle academically and when reading is the topic they become disengaged. By sparking the desire to read with a good book I hope to change all that.
By giving to this project you will be helped to spark the love for reading with the Dogman series by Dave Pilkey. My students often ask for better books and this series is just that.
The ultimate goal is for them to learn to love reading and become engaged in all areas of their day. The labels will allow us to organize the classroom library. Thank you so much for helping to make this happen.”
