Inclusive Books
Funded Mar 10, 2021Dear Rosemary,
When our students return to school after a year of distance learning, my library will represent all students in my class. All thanks to you. We now have books that amplify Black voices, focus on Hispanic heritage, religion, language, immigration, history, Asian culture, Native American stories, and much more. I cannot thank you enough for this wonderful gift to students in my classroom for many years to come. My own children made me promise that we would read each book at home first before I add the books to the classroom library. So, from current and future students, as well as my own family, thank you so very much.”

Basic Supplies Needed!
Funded Mar 7, 2021The kids are so excited that these supplies are on their way. Because of you, these students now have their own supplies and a great way to organize them. They do not have to worry about sharing supplies or even bring to in supplies Teaching in a Tittle 1 school, it is hard for parents to supply the tools their students need to be successful in school. Thanks to donors like you, the students in my classroom will not fall between the cracks simply because they do not have the most basic of supplies. Thank you so much for making a big difference!”

Stand Tall or Sit Down
Funded Mar 9, 2021Flexible seating has been very successful in my classroom over the last several years. Students have been able to choose between regular chairs, stools, and a few other, softer options. We have tried many different options for seating and thanks to you now we can add some more options.
Because of your generosity, this project will allow the kids to stand up tall to learn or to sit down comfortably to read.
Students who struggle to sit all day will be able to keep their workstation productive while also having the option to stand and shift their balance as needed. The beanbags will be great during independent reading time.
Thank you so much for making such a big difference in the lives of our students.”

Funded Mar 6, 2021Thank you so much for making this project come to life. By using these 'Math in Focus' books, I will be able to instruct each of my students on their own level. Because of their disabilities, my students vary greatly in their math levels.
Having a book for several grade levels, using the same curriculum, will help to provide individualized math instruction.
My students are hard-working kids who deserve the best instruction that I can give them. Having this set of books will help me to do just that. Math is hard for most students with Autism. But by instructing the students on their own instructional level, math can be fun.”

We Need...Paper?
Funded Mar 3, 2021Thank you so much for bringing this project to life. I teach students with Autism and other developmental delays. Having these supplies will make it possible for them to create projects about books, but also monthly projects such as black history month, women's history month, etc. The kids will be able to show what they have learned or read about by creating a project that will be presented in class. Once it has been presented, it will be proudly displayed in the hallway for the rest of the school to enjoy.”

Personalized Students
Funded Feb 21, 2021Thank you so much for helping to make this project come to full funding. These label makers will help us a lot. We are faced with having to label everything bin that our students use in the classroom. In addition to personal items, such as water bottles, etcetera. These label makers will help so much with labeling many of our pencils, bottles, containers, etc. They will also help to separate bins, areas, desks, and so on. Items that each student will need to use in class with their names placed on them. These label makers will be an asset to our classroom family from organizing bins to personalizing student belongings.”

Funded Feb 21, 2021Thank you so much for helping us get this variety of postcards and stamps for our staff to use to send home to our students. These postcards will be sent from teachers to students to put a positive spin on their day while we are virtual. The postcards will also be used to celebrate hard work and students following our PBIS behavior expectations. Our students can use a positive, kind note to celebrate them! Receiving a handwritten postcard in the mail is a kind gesture that promotes literacy as well as builds the home-to-school connection.
Thank you for supporting our students!”

Funded Feb 12, 2021My students are learning virtually full-time. We have not transitioned back to the classroom due to the Covid-19 numbers continuing to climb in our state. It is tough to watch my students work online while teaching from a single computer screen.
With this second computer screen, I will be able to see the faces of all of my students while teaching from a different screen. Having a second computer screen and a wireless keyboard will help keep my lessons engaging and meaningful while we are learning from a distance. Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. It means so much to me and my students to know that there are people like you out there that really care about the education of the next generation.”

Please Help Us Get Organized and Safe From COVID-19
Funded Jan 25, 2021Thank you so much for making this project come to life. Now that we are returning to in-person learning we need a way to keep everything organized and to keep everybody safe from COVID-19. These two large storage bins will help keep the two different cohorts' materials separated from each other. This way we avoid our students touching materials that are not their own as much as possible. Each student will also have their own materials in their own separate box, and those boxes will go into each of these bins. Thank you for helping us keep the students safe and healthy.”

Mythology! Percy Jackson!
Funded Feb 1, 2021My students will be so excited when we return to the classroom and they see that the library has grown with these wonderful books. These books items will bring so much joy to our students for many years to come, as well as make a wonderful display in our classroom library. The world of Percy Jackson has brought the magic of reading and mythology to so many kids (and adults) for years. I have used my own worn-out copies of these books for so many years that they desperately needed to be replaced. The books will help to serve as a hook to help kids to sit down and read on their own during downtime. Thank you so much for making this project take off.”
