My first grade students may not be rich with materialistic items but they are rich with the love they have for learning. They love to take learning into their own hands and make it authentic. Over 95% of our students are considered Low SES but when they are in the classroom my goal is to make them feel important and worth so much more!
Our school is located in a high poverty area and may look a little rough on the outside but when you take a step inside our building, you may forget all about that. Our school is full of teachers that have a passion for teaching.
