The mindfulness and counseling classroom is a peaceful place on campus for students to learn and recharge. All students will have the chance to practice skills and engage their senses. Our students are already used to guided mediation and now they get to have a chance to learn other ways to be mindful! By donating to my project, you will provide students more opportunities to hone in on their mindfulness practices with different mediums. Students will be allowed to go to different stations in the classroom (i.e. a reading nook, mindful coloring, tactile movement with a zen garden, etc.) depending on how they want to practice.
