  • Building The School Of Rock

    Funded Mar 18, 2025

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity in helping us secure much-needed instrument cables for our after-school rock band program. Thanks to your support, our 40 dedicated students now have the equipment they need to practice, collaborate, and grow as musicians.

Your contribution has made a direct impact, allowing our students to fully engage in their rehearsals and performances without limitations. Seeing their excitement and progress is a testament to the power of community and the value of investing in young artists.

Our highest performing group will be playing a two hour set at our school's prom this year. With your support we will be able to continue the amazing work we are doing.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • In Tune With Music(Literally)

    Funded Feb 23, 2025

On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donations to our guitar program. Thanks to your kindness, we now have the physical tuners needed to keep our instruments in tune and our music-making on track.

With over 100 students across three guitar classes, these tuners have made an immediate and lasting impact. Instead of spending valuable class time struggling with out-of-tune instruments, students can now focus on what truly matters—playing, learning, and growing as musicians.

Your generosity has not only provided essential tools for our classroom but has also shown my students that their musical journey is worth investing in. Seeing their excitement as they use the new tuners has been incredibly rewarding, and I wish you could witness firsthand how much of a difference you have made in their education.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support. Your contribution has helped create an environment where music education can thrive, and we are truly grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • Let There Be Rock!

    Funded May 28, 2023

I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contribution to our music program. Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase new guitars that arrived just in time for our spring concert. The moment the students laid their hands on these guitars, their excitement was palpable. It was a transformative experience that not only enhanced their performance but also deepened their passion for music.

The impact of your donation was vividly showcased at our spring concert, which was a resounding success. The quality of sound, the confidence in our students' performances, and the joy in their music were all elevated by the addition of these guitars. Our audience was thoroughly impressed, and it was a proud moment for everyone involved. The students' hard work, combined with the quality of the new instruments, created a memorable evening that celebrated the power of music and community support.

Looking forward, the guitars will continue to play a crucial role in our music program, offering students the opportunity to explore their musical talents and express themselves creatively. Your generosity has not only made a significant impact today but will also resonate with future generations of musicians. We are incredibly grateful for your support and look forward to sharing our musical journey with you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • Band! Horns Up!

    Funded Apr 24, 2022

I cannot express who thankful I am for your continued support! The saxophones came just in time for the spring concert and for marching band camp over the summer.

The jazz band was extremely excited when I announced the new instruments where here. During the summer I was able to open two new slots for tenor saxophones in the marching band, which were quickly filled by excited freshmen.

With several other donations I was able to secure over the summer I was able to increase the band instrument inventory to include 5 new saxophones, a trumpet and a clarinet. Thanks you for your continued support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • Time to Slappa' Da Bass

    Funded Oct 20, 2021

I can not thank you enough! There has been some amazing developments with the bass amps. Originally I needed the amps for my concert band classes but we had an unexpected boom in bassist in my guitar classes.

With your support I now have almost ten, student lead, rock bands rotating weekly using the amps! I am now in need of even more electric guitars and basses than I ever thought I would. I was shocked when I saw such a huge interest from the students. I am now restructuring the music program to accommodate this new interest.

Without your help I don't think I would not have seen such a huge boom in student lead engagement!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • One Band! One Sound! Only if We Have Reeds

    Funded Oct 1, 2021

Thank you so much for your continued support! My students were very appreciative upon the arrival of the new reeds. As a program we have been taking sanitation very seriously, so making sure each student has a clean reed is very important.

With your support we were able to have an amazing marching band season last fall AND an amazing winter concert. Though the band is growing again, thanks to your support we have the resources to accommodate the growth.

This semester we have been focusing on bridging the gap between the concert band program and the new rock band program I started this semester. Our goal is to provide a full horn sections for the rock bands so we can perform any song they may want to preform.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • More Band Members Equals More Fun...And Mouthpieces

    Funded May 14, 2019

Thank you all once again for your generosity! With your help we were able to have our most successful and biggest marching season since the founding of the band 4 years ago, with our numbers just passing 40 students!!!

With your help I was able to reach and engage students who were not able to be a part of my music program during the regular school day. Together we were able to inspire even more students thus causing the band to once again out grow the amount of equipment on hand.

Thank you once again for supporting our music program! I can't wait to see what we do in the near future.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • What's That Smell?

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

I cannot express how grateful I am to all of you who donated. These mouth pieces came just in time for marching band season. As the marching band is mostly made up of jazz band students the new mouth pieces got worn in right away. Having new and clean mouth pieces is essential for a band, with your donation I was able to "retire" several of the older less desirable mouth pieces and protect the health of my students.

My students saw the box on my desk and were very excited to be getting their new mouth pieces. It took two rehearsals for their mouths to readjust to the new mouth pieces but soon it was back to business as usual.

We are currently preparing for our winter concert and then the jazz band will be preparing for their competition season in March. Hopefully soon I will be able to replace nearly all the mouth pieces for the beginning band and marching band as well.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • Where Did I Leave My Marching Band Music?

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Once again I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated to our project. This summer we had a very successful band camp with just over 20 students. Where each student received their new lyres and flip folders with this marching season's music.

We received the lyres and flip folders back in May, the band was very excited to begin using them! Though having ever seen anything like them before, my students were slightly confused on where the lyres would fit on their instruments. After a short demonstration they understood.

This past Friday was our first football game and the first time we used our new equipment on the field. With your help we not only did we sound good but also looked good sporting our new equipment!”

  • Reeds for Days?

    Funded Jan 8, 2018

I can not thank each of you enough! Once again my students can continue to excel at music. My Alto Sax students were on their last few reeds before the new shipment came in. I was worried we would not make it through the year and the spring concert with the number of reeds we had left. Thanks to your generosity we will have a successful spring concert.

My students were over joyed when they heard that the our project had been fulfilled. My advanced band was even more excited because they came right before their competition and they were able to perform with fresh reeds.

Thanks to your donations we will be able to finish out our year strong. With our upcoming spring concert and marching band camp over the summer, I am pleased knowing my students will be able continue learning and playing music.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

Rebooting the music program at my school has been an uphill battle, whether it be an issue of space or lack of materials. Despite all of our challenges my students and I have worked tirelessly to get the necessary equipment . With the limited budget I was given at the start of the year, I have only been able to purchase the bare minimum materials needed for my classes. Even with my best effort to conserve reeds, accidents do happen and our supply is beginning to run low. With several performances and rehearsals left, my students will be using these reeds daily to further their application for music.
