  • Operation Organization

    Funded Dec 27, 2023

Thank you so much for helping me obtain all of these resources. The bins have help our class remain organized. The books are easy to view and pick which one to read during the week. The trays and pouches have helped our reading materials remain organized by keeping the items where they belong. The folders are a great way for my student's file information to remain all in one spot. We can review them at any given time and put them away when not in use. The desk organizers have helped our class house important paperwork.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hernandez

  • Amazing Work

    Funded Jan 16, 2024

Thank you so much for helping my class obtain these display frames. These frames include my student's name. They were recently placed on our classroom wall. They showcase my students artwork and work samples. My students feel proud to have their work displayed and they feel so proud. The wall is nearest the classroom door and my students are always coming and going from our room. It is the first thing they see as they walk in to our class and it is the last thing they see as they are walking out the door.”

  • Incentives and More

    Funded Dec 31, 2023

Thank you so much for these items. The sensory tools including the magnetic wands, balls, Nee-Doh, and squishies are used during their calming and relaxing breaks. These items are squeezed, squished, poked, and stretched. They help my students improve concentration and coordination. They use these squishy tools for repeated squeezing exercises and to create fun shapes with these malleable sensory items.

The incentives have motivated my students in making good choices to shape their behavior. One of their favorite items they like to pick is the Crayola Dough. They like to shape, squish and mix the dough. The wind-up toys each do a different trick such as swimming in water, flipping, sliding, spinning, walking, or shaking their head. This is one of the items they like to pick from the treasure chest.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hernandez

  • Sensory Tools

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

Thank you for helping my students obtain these fidget/sensory tools. Several of my students like to use these tools to take a break. My students use the squishy balls to squeeze and it helps them relax. The moving sand art liquid motion bubbler flowing sand art creates hills and deserts. They gradually appear when you flip it upside down.

My students use the DoodleJamz JellyPics to squish, shape and create art. They are filled with transparent gel and colored beads to sculpt, mold and design any picture they want. They use the putty to squeeze, pinch, stretch and twist and it provides a sensory outlet for students. These fidget tools have truly helped my students focus and be ready to learn.”

  • Organization Please

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you for supporting my project. The binding combs have been useful in binding our social stories and the Velcro has been used to create incentive charts and visual schedules.

The colorful bins have helped organize our books. Now, our monthly theme books are easy to find and put away. I created sensory boxes for our sensory tools (fidgets, theraputty, tubes, and squishy balls). The boxes help my students during their calming and relaxing breaks. The treasure boxes are used after students have filled their incentive chart. They love working towards earning prizes.”

  • A Little Bit of Everything

    Funded Oct 9, 2023

Thank you for supporting our project. The trimmer has been useful in cutting our visuals. The binding combs have been useful in binding our social stories to read to our students.

The colorful bins have helped organize our books. Now, our monthly theme books are easy to find and put away. I created sensory boxes for our sensory tools. The boxes help my students during their calming and relaxing breaks. The students can rotate them each week to use new tools and not get bored of using the same tool over and over.

Thank you for making this possible.”

  • Reading Resources

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

The shape cut-outs, cards, books, and posters have enhance my students phonological awareness skills, letter identification, letter sounds, and decoding CVC words. It has benefited my first, second, and third grade students in so many ways. They have been working on a variety of reading skills.

One of my favorite moments is when students begin to see themselves as readers. They start to notice their progress and they become more motivated to learn.

I am excited to continue using these resources. Thank you for helping me become a better educator and helping my students become better readers.”
