Thank you so much for all your help towards our fun reading and math centers. The students love the materials and have been working on using letter-sounds, phonemic awareness, and number sense. They get to use the materials to work on the phonic skills we have learned in class. They can blend words learn vocabulary and manipulate sounds. They also get to practice their counting and other math concepts.
The students were super excited when the materials arrived. They were so eager to start playing. During center time they get to have fun playing with the activities and also learn important social skills such as turn-taking, sharing, and helping others.
We will continue working towards our goals in reading and math. Thank you so much for helping us meet our goals.”
With gratitude,

Thank you so much for these leveled guided reading books. We use these books in the classroom to work on small focus groups based on the students needs. The students work on learning and practicing new sight words. Reading decodable words, using pictures to look for meaning and answering comprehension questions. The students also practice reading the books on their own while I take notes on their reading behaviors and plan for what the group will work on next. The students love reading the books to the group because they get to read out-loud and show their peers and I how far they have come.”
Thank you so much for your generous donations. We have used these books to learn about the parts of a book, such as finding the book cover, the title, author, illustrator, pictures, words in a book, and page numbers. The students also are working on reading pattern books and using pictures to determine unknown words. They are also using letter- sounds to sound out phonetically friendly words. They love the pictures in the books and feel confident reading them during our independent reading time. Some students love the books so much they don't want to switch them at the end of the week. We are so grateful for your help.”

My students are extraordinary and they demonstrate that everyday.
Our school provides a safe learning environment in which they are able to D.R.E.A.M (develop, reflect, engage, assess, and make connections). They are hard working children who love coming to school to learn about new things. The school is a safe haven in a rough neighborhood. My students are willing to put the outside world to the side and engage in meaningful learning experiences.
