  • Reading Begins in Preschool

    Funded Oct 9, 2024

WOW! These Lil Libros are like magic in our hands. They came right on time as we are celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. These picture board books honor important figures and are in English and Spanish. They are the perfect fit for our classroom library area.

These books will be read before breakfast lunch and snack time as they are waiting for the food to arrive. It's the perfect time because the group size is smaller. It's great to have books that represent the majority of the classroom in your hands.”

  • The Art of Building Using Small Hands

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you all so much for helping fully fund this project. We ordered these items because our students really enjoy building and creating with them but felt that they could do so much more if they had more to build with and expand on their creations. The sets came in right on time. The new school year just started and weeks one and two are all about introducing the kiddos to the items and all the learning areas. We are helping them place them back into their proper place after playing with the new materials.

This group of children are already gravitating towards these new additions and the staff and I could already see the young kid's logic thinking and working on those fine motor skills. These items keep them thinking and entertained.”

  • Hydration Begins in Preschool!

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

The staff and I would love to thank you for donating to this project and helping it get funded in short amount of time. This project was perfect for our school because the students are not allowed to drink from the water faucet and need to bring a water bottle everyday filled with water to drink while they are at the center. Although it is a requirement for them to bring in their water bottle, many do not and we are constantly purchasing water from our own pockets, or asking the parents of our classroom for water donations.

When I told the kiddos about this special project, they were super excited that the possibility of them having their own water bottle at school brought so much out of them.

When I did receive notice that this project had been funded, they were all so happy and

expressed to me, that it was the best day of their life. It just meant so much to them.

I will post the pictures for you to see the smiles of them with their water bottles.”

  • Math Comes Easy in Preschool!

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

A huge Thank you to all the donors that donated to this Math Project. The kiddos were falling behind in Math and needed materials that would help them see numbers in different forms. The clock puzzle is amazing, because it not only has numbers, but each number is in a shape. There are many concepts in Math from this clock puzzle.

The kiddos are also using the butterfly counters as they learn to count from 1-10. They are so engaged now because of these counters! These counters have helped the kiddos move forward with their counting abilities and some are advancing to the next level and are now counting up to 20.

The number puzzle is another great addition to the Math Center. It is used during free play time where the kiddos are able to sit down at a table with a friend or an adult and put the number pieces back in order. It is also used as a visual when talking about numbers or when they are writing their numbers on a piece of paper.

The kiddos, the staff and I are all so pleased with all these new additions that will help the them move on to the next level of their knowledge in Math.”

    With gratitude,

  • My Best Math Experience Started in Preschool!

    Funded Nov 15, 2022

The staff, the children and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your kind donations that helped fully fund this wonderful Math Project. We were all so excited when we received the great news! When the boxes started to arrive, we opened it up together and it was as if Christmas had arrived early in our classroom.

We started off by opening the counters and immediately started counting with the fruit counters. They lined them up, took some away, while others added them It was great to see all their faces light up with these new counters.

We added the counters to our Math Area for all to use and enjoy while learning different components of Math. We added the Magnetic color counting Maze to the Math Area right next to the counters. I am so glad these items came in, now we will be able to use a variety of counting counters for years to come.”

  • When I Grow Up!

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thanks to each and everyone of you for donating to this Project. The items that were ordered we placed in the block area. The magnetic Farm Animals added to our Farm Area. All the kiddos were thrilled with this addition. It was great watching them take them apart and put them back together. We also added the castle to the Block Area where their imagination went wild!

Having different types of items for them to choose from in the Block Area, builds on their imagination, their critical thinking skills and it builds vocabulary while they are playing and having fun with their classmates. Thanks for enhancing this area, we can't thank you enough!”

  • Sitting in My Square in Preschool.

    Funded Aug 13, 2022

The students and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for donating to this project. The new colorful carpet added a positive vibe to our classroom and it is helping with classroom management, and a positive climate. The kiddos were all so excited when they heard that the carpet was fully funded and they couldn't wait to see it with their own eyes. Some said, It's going to look better and brighter in person, and they were right!

These kiddos deserve a carpet that is free from stains and germs, even so during these times of Covid-19, RSV, and the flu. We are all so grateful for helping bring in this carpet to our classroom and for taking the time for making our dreams come true.”

  • Finding Your Rhythm in Pre-School!

    Funded Jan 18, 2022

Thank you all for helping fully fund this project. This project helped enhance our Music Area. The kiddos were very excited when the package arrived. We went over the names and the proper way to use them as they were added to the Music Area. We made labels so that they can be placed in their special spot.

The children were very curious about The Gong. They all had a chance to use it during large group time as they transitioned to their small group. They were also excited to use the scarves. Some of the girls asked me to put on some ballerina music, and used the colorful scarves to dance around on the carpet.

Some of the items were also placed in the outdoor Music Area for the rest of the students to use. I am so thrilled about all the new items that were placed in the Music Area.”

  • Engineering and Magnetism Begins in Pre-School!

    Funded Jan 11, 2022

The kiddos and I want to thank all the donors that donated to this project! When we received the package, it was presented to the kiddos and they were all so amazed at the size of these magnetic tiles, because the ones they use in the classroom are tiny compared to these tiles. This made a great lesson on Math, They were introduced to the understanding of measurable properties such as size, length, weight, and capacity (volume), and how to quantify those properties. The colors were vibrant and so inviting that you want to start building something.

The Mega tiles were placed in the Science Area in the outdoor yard. The kiddos jumped right into building using these tiles. They are still learning about the magnets and the magnetic field. The Kiddos can build whatever they want without limitation and have more fun. Children could release their imagination and creativity, enhance their spatial intelligence and fine motor skills, nurture their hand-eye cooperation ability through building and creating. What a great addition to our outdoor Science Area thanks to everyone!! We are so grateful for this contribution!!”

  • Let's Build Our Vocabulary in Preschool!

    Funded Dec 11, 2021

Thank you all for donating to this project and helping me get it fully funded. We were all so excited to finally get a new table and Alphabet floor puzzles. These items will be used during indoor free play time. These puzzles will help increase their vocabulary, while having fun flipping and turning puzzle pieces. With puzzles kids learn visual recognition, cooperation, fine-motor development, problem solving and cognitive skills.

The table will be used as part of the classroom and be used as a cozy area near the library. It will create a place where children can relax, calm down and learn to manage their emotions and behavior. These additions to the classroom are just what we need! Thanks again for donating!”
