While there is a rug in the classroom, it is dingy, smelly, and rectangular. I would like to replace it with an oval shape made of stain-resistant material. During a regular day, students will be asked to gather on the rug after each transition, for group-guided lessons, and story time. The rug/carpet that I found is not only an oval, which instantly encourages a circle, but it also has friendly animal images and the alphabet; both of which can be used as equitable classroom management tools. Please help our class get this special place for us to gather; your contribution will actually be for well over 400 children; as it will be used for the next 20 years! Thank you kindly!
