  • Second Grade Fun

    Funded Aug 24, 2024

You are truly superstars. Having devoted and supportive parents really make teaching more and more meaningful. Knowing that these resources will be used in order to make our classroom environment more engaging brings a smile to my face. I can’t thank you enough for helping us learn in color.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Romero

  • Mystery Science

    Funded Aug 24, 2024

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity. I am excited to take these resources into our classroom and continue trying to make learning more hands-on and fun for all of the students. I so appreciate you taking the time to support all of the students in my class.”

  • Calming Area

    Funded Jan 4, 2023

Thank you so much for contributing to our project. Having a calming corner has been a very beneficial addition to our classroom. The students enjoy using it as a place to work out conflicts and create resolutions. They also use the space as a hang-out and place to complete independent work away from their desks.

It is important for students to be able to have choice throughout the day in terms of work products and order of work completion. In addition to this they like having choice in terms of seating so this space has been a very welcome addition.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Romero

  • Organize Your Mind

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Thank you for supporting our class. These supplies have helped us to stay more organized which saves us a lot time and makes the classroom a lot more appealing to be in. Developing organizational skills takes times and without the right materials, it is very challenging for students to be able to learn these skills. We are fortunate to have access to learning manipulatives to assist us with building conceptual understanding and having easy access has made a huge difference.

The mini brands have been so popular in our movie making lessons. The students created stop motion movies using them and it was so fun and educational.”

  • Life in Color

    Funded Dec 28, 2021

We thank you so much for pitching in so we can have these materials for our class. We got a lot of use out of the materials which allowed us to to bring color and imagination into our classroom.

We worked on many fun and creative projects this year including drawing cartoons, making stop-motion movies, and learning how to use green screen for photography as well as movie making. The materials helped students create colorful backgrounds and characters to tell stories and work together.

    I truly appreciate the support.”

  • PE for Everyone

    Funded Oct 29, 2021

I really love being back in the classroom with students. It has been so great connecting safely in person but there are some outdoor skills the students have not had a chance to engage in the past couple of years. The pe equipment has been a much needed release for my class of energetic second grade students. I have noticed that students really need the practice engaging in opportunities to be team players. They can bond and connect in a different way out doors. It also gives an opportunity for students who may struggle in the classroom to be able to showcase their athleticism and gross motor skills.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Romero

  • Fun Fall Days

    Funded Oct 27, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation of computer accessories and Chinese Jump ropes and other science goodies. We have been having a lot of lessons on computer programming and the Botley Robots are a really fun way to take all of the learning and extend it even farther. We also really enjoyed the Chinese jump ropes. We have been taking part in a unit on ancient Chinese civilizations and these items really made a fun connection for our students. We can't wait to explore with the color paddles and the magnets in our upcoming science unit.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Romero

  • Welcome Back to School

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

Thank you again for helping our class have some fun outside and inside the classroom. The students really enjoyed working with the Botley kits. We are learning a lot about computer coding and the Botley Robots are a fun extension for us to use in class. We also had a great time learning how to use a Chinese jump ropes. We were in the middle of a Ancient Chinese Civilization unit and this was a really fun way to learn about the Chinese culture. We are so happy to be back at school and appreciate the support.”

  • iTeach Art

    Funded Jun 14, 2021

I am so grateful for the opportunity to add this iPad into my classroom instruction for next year. I have been able to use the drawing functions to create some really fun and interactive activities for the first week of school. I have also uploaded many applications and programs that I can use to help my students catch up after missing many instructional hours over the past year and a half. This device will allow my students to learn many important and valuable skills and it will certainly make learning them a lot more fun.”

  • Distance Learning Continued...

    Funded Sep 30, 2020

As we wind down this school year, I am so touched by the generosity of others and the support we received from friends, family, and people we have never met. My students not only survived through an unexpected and new way of learning, buy they also thrived. We have learned new ways to communicate, express ourselves, turn in work, and create projects. The materials we received through this organization and made possibly by your donations allowed us to come together and participate over Zoom and feel connected and together.”

    With gratitude,
