New Seating Options for Our Room
Funded Nov 16, 2017Thank you so much for helping to fund our new seating option for Room 24 at Sherman Oaks Elementary Charter School. Words is getting around that we are the class to be in for flexible seating and I love that we are the trend setters. Because of your donation, students will have another choice for how they would like to learn in the classroom. It is so interesting to see what learning style works best for them. These new seats will be a wonderful addition to the classroom. Again, thank you so much for your donation!”

A New Printer For Mrs. C
Funded Nov 12, 2017This letter is on behalf of Mrs. Curtis. Words cannot express her extreme gratitude for your donation towards her project. She is truly humbled by your generosity. When she told her class that they were getting a new printer, the kids started to clap. Mrs. Curtis spent a few minutes explaining the importance of giving to others and helping those when you can. She said that the students are so excited to print off their writing assignments and put them up for all to see. There is nothing more valuable for a child to see their words brought to life.”

A NEW Classroom Carpet For 2nd Grade!
Funded Oct 27, 2017A brand new classroom carpet is just what Ms. Cochran's classroom needed. Not only are the students excited, but Room 15 is now the talk of the school! Everyone is jealous of the new carpet that the students are receiving that they all want to know our secret. The secret is simple- we had truly wonderful donors. Thank you for giving Ms. Cochran's students a new clean place to sit. Each student now has their own special spot where they can learn, relax, and focus. Ms. Cochran would like all of her donors to know how much you mean to her. She will never forget your kindness.”

Wonder- A Literature Circle Project
Funded Sep 26, 2017Today my students received our "Wonder" books. When the books arrived I sent my students to the office to bring back a box. When they asked what was inside I told them it was a surprise. As they came back to the classroom, they begged for me to open the box. When I opened the box and showed them what was inside, a HUGE roar erupted in the classroom. It was so loud that my teacher neighbor came in to see what all the excitement was about.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Next week we begin our reading adventure and I am truly thrilled.”

Stability Balls For Scholars!
Funded Oct 10, 2016Dear Donors,
Words cannot express my gratitude for your donation to my classroom project. It is because of you that my students have 8 new stability balls that we can use for exercise and brain breaks in and out of the classroom.
With your donation my students will have a chance to exercise and take breaks when needed. Taking a break from academics is very important. It helps refocus the brain and get ready to learn something new.
It is with your donation that my students will learn what generosity means. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for thinking of us,”

A Backpack Cart for Our Room
Funded Jan 22, 2015Mother Teresa once said,"It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." Every single one of you has showed my students the importance of doing good for others. You have also showed my students that if you put a little love into the world it can go a long way.
My students are beyond thrilled to receive this backpack cart. This cart will help my students stay organized and will help them prepare for productive day at school. After all, a good first start is imperative to a successful day.
