Equipo Yetis Reading Zone Books
Funded Oct 13, 2021On behalf of my students, I want to thank you for your commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in education. Your donation is not just a gift of books, but a powerful affirmation of our students' identities and potential.
Our students have been eager to dive into these new stories, and it has been truly rewarding to see their excitement and engagement. The culturally rich narratives you provided have sparked lively discussions, broadened perspectives, and inspired our students to think critically about the world around them. These books have become valuable tools in our mission to foster a love of reading and an appreciation for the richness of different cultures.
We are deeply grateful for your kindness and support. Your contribution has made a lasting impact, and we look forward to sharing the continued successes and growth of our students with you.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Redding
This classroom project was brought to life by Nevada Department of Education. Our School's Library
Funded Jul 29, 2018Thank you so much for your donation. My students were so grateful to receive books that reflect their own experiences. Our big goal at my school is for each student to read 10 books a school year. As a result of your donation, that goal was a reality for many of my students.
Since integrating these books into my classroom, I have witnessed remarkable changes in my students' enthusiasm for reading and their ability to connect with the material. The stories and voices that these books bring to our classroom have sparked meaningful discussions, broadened our students' understanding of different cultures, and fostered a deeper appreciation for the diverse world we live in.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Redding
