  • New Students Need New Materials!

    Funded Jan 23, 2017

Thanks so much for making my two new students feel welcome into my classroom. We recently got a new boy and a new girl in our room. Unfortunately, we did not have enough first grade workbooks or back packs for them.

Thanks to your amazing donation, my new students now have the same materials as my other students.

Thanks also for the delicious snacks. Thanks for helping to feed so many little mouths. They love eating them daily.

We are all so grateful to your for your love and generosity. Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Finkelstein

Thank you very much for funding this sweet project. My students are thrilled to have lots of delicious snacks. They get to pick a snack from our food bin to bring home everyday. They also get to have a snack in class in the late afternoon.

They especially love the granola bars and the cookies.

It is great that they are no longer hungry and are better able to concentrate on their studies.

Thanks again for your love and kindness in donating to and funding this project.

You have made lots of first graders very happy.”

Thank you very much for funding this project for my 25 first graders. Thanks to you, my students now have ink and paper. They are thrilled that we can now print copies of their work in color.

They are looking forward to interviewing their families about how they celebrate the holidays now and when they were younger.

We are thrilled to have lots of white paper. We actually had run out of small white construction paper last month. It is great to now have 500 sheets of paper.

    Funded Jan 11, 2017

Thanks so much for the ink and paper for my first graders. We are so thrilled that you chose to donate to my little ones. The paper and ink arrived at a wonderful time. We were running out of both of these materials.

Thanks to you, we will now be able to write letters to our families to tell them about our upcoming Science Fair project. We will be learning about magnets. We will do projects to see what magnets are attracted to and not attracted to.

  • Quill Materials are Awesome!

    Funded Dec 5, 2016

Thanks so much for bringing lots of JOY to my first graders. They are thrilled to now get a chance to eat oatmeal in class. This is a wonderful addition to our classroom. They love getting to have the oatmeal in bowls as a wonderful afternoon snack when they are hungry.

They are excited to also have more bird materials in our room.

They love their new bird bookmarks. They often struggle with finding the pages in our story and math books. These bookmarks have been very helpful in finding the pages much faster.

Thank you so much for getting my students a hand held vacuum. We have been using this everyday to clean up messes. The trash bags are also very helpful to put our food from breakfast into. We have been putting our leftover food into the Ziploc bags.

  • Quill to the Rescue!

    Funded Dec 5, 2016

Thanks so much for funding this project for my first graders. We are extremely thankful to you for getting us paper towels, toilet paper, paper goods and Clorox wipes. We have been using the wipes and paper towels everyday to clean up messes in our classroom. Unfortunately, we have been getting visitors from rodents in our classroom in the evening. We are trying hard to keep these creatures away from our room.

Many of the children have colds during the winter. The tissues and hand sanitizer has been very helpful in eliminating germs.

My students are 30 loving but very needy 4th graders. I teach in an inner city school in a high crime and high poverty area in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I work in a public school and teach a "regular" fourth grade class. I currently have 8 Special Need students and 5 ESOL student in my class. They can not afford simple supplies such as books. All of the students at my school receive free breakfast as well as free lunch. I would love to improve my students' lives and bring a smile to their face.
