Thanks once again to the amazing estate of Dorothea Lutz for funding our project for our Nook. We will now have enough working Nooks for our listening center. I can't wait to see their expressions when we have center times and they realize that they no longer have to share Nooks. I also added lots of stories onto their Nook today.

Thanks also for the hard candies. My students will get a little pick me up thanks to the life savers and peppermints.

Thanks so very much to the estate of Dorothea Lutz for funding half of this project today. My students were thrilled that once again we can copy our stories about how to behave in school. We have already written about how to behave in line. Next we will be writing and printing our stories about how to sit at the carpet and how to sit in the lunchroom.

My students are 30 loving but very needy 4th graders. I teach in an inner city school in a high crime and high poverty area in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I work in a public school and teach a "regular" fourth grade class. I currently have 8 Special Need students and 5 ESOL student in my class. They can not afford simple supplies such as books. All of the students at my school receive free breakfast as well as free lunch. I would love to improve my students' lives and bring a smile to their face.
