  Thanks so much for funding our Nooks. The children love reading stories on them. They especially love listening to the Dr. Seuss stories. They also love listening to Caps for Sale as well as a Multiplication Rap song. They look forward everyday to going to our Nook center.

• Integrating Math and Art in First Grade!

  They especially like using the magnetic shapes to build objects. They are improving their addition and subtraction skills with our new magnetic numbers.

• Let's Integrate Art and Social Studies in our Class!

  Thanks so much for funding this project. You have made 25 first graders very happy. Thanks to your amazing support and kindness, my students now have lots of books about community helpers. They will get to know whose tools belong to which community helper.

  My little ones were especially happy to get 2 community helper coloring books too.

  They will now be able to integrate Art and Social Studies thanks to your donation.

• Let's Integrate Social Studies and Art Once Again!

  Thanks so very much for these amazing coloring books. My students were extremely happy when these books arrived in our classroom last week. What they don't know is that they will each be getting one of these books to take home for the holidays. They will have an opportunity to read the stories, play with stickers as well as color in pictures.

• Integrating Winter Holidays and Social Studies in 1st Grade!

  Thanks a million for funding this project. My students love the our new holiday story books. They especially like the Clifford and the Frosty the Snowman books. These books are all on display in our classroom. Everyday this month, we will read a different holiday book. The children are excited about writing and drawing about the holidays.

• First Graders Need New Back Packs!

  Thanks so very much for the beautiful book bags. My students will be thrilled to get them for the upcoming holidays. Their current book bags are falling apart. I can't wait to see their expression when they get to pick out their new bags.

• Integrating Art into Science and Math

  I want to thank you for funding this Art, Science and Math project for my first graders. They love our new coloring books. They are always requesting to use them when they complete their classwork.

  My first graders are also enjoying their new Science and Math Centers. They look forward to our Math Centers every afternoon. They also get to use the Science Center activities 2 or 3 times a week.

  You have made 24 first graders very happy. I love seeing their eyes light up when I tell them that it is Center Time.”

  Thanks a million for our new materials for our Math centers. The children said that Math centers is one of their favorite parts of the day. They especially like the magna tiles and the patterns shapes. The children love using the attribute blocks. They like sorting them by size, shape and colors.

• Arts and the Sciences in First Grade!

  Funded Nov 9, 2016

  I want to thank you for the wonderful Art, Science and Social Studies books. My students were thrilled to also get the new markers and colored pencils since our current ones seem to gone missing or are broken.

  The children have already started to use the art supplies this week. They got to use the art supplies to make our Thanksgiving Turkey box this week. The children decorated the box to look like a Turkey Football. They then filled the box with canned goods. Next week one of the children in our class will get to take home the box in order to ensure that they have a great holiday.

  We look forward to making many more Art projects that combine the Sciences, Math and Social Studies.
