The materials that I am requesting are a way for my students to have everything that they need for their math in the palm of their hands. This binder and anchor examples that will be in the protective sheets in the binders will be taken back and forth from home and school. I want my students to not only have examples, but also to be able to take their binder and find things that are "real world" problems that they can journal about and share with the class. I want them to know that math is used every day and I want them to be able to find it in their surroundings and utilize what they know. Building confidence in their math skills at this level is so important for the rest of their algebric journey.
