The READ 180 reading intervention program provides and Instructional Software component that is individually tailored to each student's present Lexile Reading Score and provides instruction designed to aid them in meeting their reading growth targets by the middle and end of the academic school year. My students are highly motivated and goal oriented. However, my school does not have an adequate supply of computer technology to accommodate this extremely important and significant component of the READ 180 program.
The instructional technology requested will make a HUGE difference in my students' learning. Primarily by providing them with an opportunity to utilize a Chromebook to access the READ 180 Instructional Software component which provides targeted and individualized reading and writing instruction for them.
I can just imagine the joy and excitement on my students' faces when they arrive into the classroom environment and see 7 new Chromebooks for them to utilize while completing their daily individualized Instructional Software assignments.
Certainly, you agree that my students deserve a classroom environment that has adequate instructional technology available for them that will foster an opportunity for their individual reading scores to soar.
