My fabulous school is located in Southwest Virginia. We are a school with a VERY high percentage of free lunch students. Many students live in poverty. Many students are struggling readers who come from homes where there are adult literacy issues as well. The majority of our students are not used to being read to at home. These students are eager to get their hands on books and to HEAR good books being read fluently.
