• Playground Science

  Thank you so very much for donating to our classroom project, Playground Science! The students were so excited to open the box and explore what we received. It was like Christmas morning! The week we received our items turned out to be a beautiful weather week and they were immediately able to go outside and use some of the material. Most of it will be used in the spring when there are more insects out for us to find and study. Thank you so very much for helping to provide materials to engage students in the world around them!”

• Bring Board Games Back

  Thank you so very much for donating to our Donor's Choose project Bring Board Games Back. The students really enjoyed helping to unpack the surprise box when it came. They were so excited to have new center choices for indoor recess. We were having the coldest weather we have had in years when the games came in and it was such a blessing to have new choices for them to be engaged with. I have seen an improvement in cooperating and following directions since we have been playing together. Thank you for making this possible for my students!”

• Outdoor Learning Packs

  Thank you so much for donating to our Outdoor Learning project. We are so excited to be able to learn using the outdoor packs. Being in nature is good for us both physically and mentally and stimulates our brain to learn a different way. Being outside gives us opportunities to practice observation skills and to learn about the world around us. We also are able to practice cooperative learning and teamwork. All of these opportunities create more engaged and active student learners. Thank you for making this opportunity available for my students!”

• Basic Needs Help Us Succeed

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project Basic Needs Help Us Succeed! The students were so excited to get the box in the mail with our materials. It was like Christmas! I am keeping the supplies in a small closet and will use them as needed. Students and parents are aware that I have items that they may need. I have noticed an improvement in focus and effort when they are able to be fed and have their basic needs met! Thank you so much for giving all of my students these materials to help them be comfortable and successful!”

• Let's Be Flexible!

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project, Let's Be Flexible! The students were so excited to get the box in the mail with our materials. It was like Christmas! The bench seat and the doughnut chairs have been the most popular so far, but they are enjoying all the options they have each day. I have noticed an improvement in focus and effort when they are able to get comfortable while they are working! Thank you so much for giving all of my students these materials to help them be comfortable and successful!”

• Creative Corner!

  The students are very excited to have the easel and drawing/ writing materials to use in our classroom. Having a different avenue for writing and creating helped many students be able to get ideas down in a more concrete manner. Students who can't seem to get their ideas onto paper in the traditional manner were eager to attempt story telling when offered this less rigid format. Their creativity can shine when they can relax and not be confined to a traditional format. Thank you for making a difference!”

• Emotional Regulation for Everyone

  Thank you so very much for donating to our Calming Corner project. My students were so excited when the boxes of supplies came in. It truly felt like Christmas morning. We opened them together, and discussed how we would use them in the classroom.

  When the time came to set up the corner, we did it as a class, and reviewed how to use the space. The students at first were so excited they wanted to visit the space frequently, but they have since begun to use the space appropriately and it is making such huge difference in our class atmosphere. Students feel valued and safe, and therefore they are learning! Thank you again for making a difference.”

• Science Buckets

  Thank you so very much for donating to our Donorś Choose Science Bucket classroom project. The students very excited and were eager for me to open the Amazon boxes. They were thrilled we were getting presents at school. It always amazes them that complete strangers care about them and want them to have materials to help them learn. We are excited to get outside and start exploring the world around us using all of the new science tools and books that we received. Thank you for making a difference for my students!”
