  • Kitchen Remodel

    Funded Mar 1, 2025

I can't express a world of difference your generosity has made in impacting the learning and socialization of my students in my classroom. Your gift brightens up the room, and brings pure joy to my students. It is the focal point of the room and is noticed by all who pass by the room. The students can't wait for center time! They love exploring the different materials.

The materials could not have come at a better time. We were just about to start our building unit of study, when the boxes arrived. I explained to my students that our kitchen is going through a renovation and they were excited to see what was in the boxes. They helped me sound out the words on the outside of the boxes to guess what might be inside. We also used the empty boxes to build a house the students can go inside, and the students helped to create their own different types of smaller buildings. The other pre-k and 3k classes were so jealous.

Next we will be using some of the other big boxes to build a mini mall for the students to go in.”

  • Steam for All!

    Funded Dec 23, 2024

The boys and girls were so excited to have the special packages arrive. They were even fighting, in a nice way, over the opportunity to open the packages. They loved having the opportunity to open and see what new items arrived to add to our classroom to make it better.

I can't express how grateful I am to your generous donations. Because of you we now have more steam toys to incorporate into my classroom. We have letter lock and keys so the boys and girls can practice recognizing their letters. We have binoculars so the children can explore the classroom through a new set of lenses, pretend they are explorers, and see what is happening beyond our classroom in the yard and park across the street. There are pretend tools and building materials for when we do our building study. There are stamps and colorful stamp pads for the children to enjoy writing and practicing their names. The magnet set will allow the boys and girls to experiment with magnets and build their inquiry skills. There are now color tissue paper squares for art projects.

We are now finishing up our clothing unit. Next we will be doing our building unit. The tool boxes and drill sets will be amazing because it will allow the students to have some hands on experiences with different tools. This is something they wouldn't necessarily have access to in a safe way.”

  • Printing Is Essential

    Funded Dec 15, 2024

I can't express how grateful I am to your generous donations. Because of you we now have access to color printing material to allow me to print pictures of my students, print educational resources to enrich their learning, and make personalized memory crafts for them to always remember their time in our classroom.

The boys and girls were so excited to have the special packages arrive. They were even fighting, in a nice way, over the opportunity to open the packages. They loved having the opportunity to open and see what new items arrived to add to our classroom to make it better.

The boys and girls love seeing pictures of themselves. They enjoy making things especially projects to take home to their family. With these materials I can enrich their learning and take it to the next level in a fun engaging way. We can make personalized books that they can always cherish as a keepsake of their time in my classroom with their friends.”

  • Clean Water Please!

    Funded Dec 15, 2024

I can't express how grateful I am to your generous donations. Because of you we now have continuous access to clean safe water to drink, wash our hands, and cook with. The minute I attached the Pur filtration system to the faucet I was able to notice the difference to the color of the water.

The boys and girls were so excited to have the special packages arrive. They were even fighting, in a nice way, over the opportunity to open the packages. They loved having the opportunity to open and see what new items arrived to add to our classroom to make it better.

The boys and girls enjoyed the taste of the water. This will give everyone the chance to make healthy habits by drinking more water. It is also cost effective for the parents and me because they don't need to constantly send in expensive water bottles for their children to drink and I don't need to supplement water bottles for the children who don't have. Now they can send in a reusable water bottle and I can fill it up in the classroom.”

  • Hands-on Baking to Celebrate Our Different Thematic Units

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity. The boys and girls were so excited when they received all the different packages. They couldn't wait to open them up and see what was inside. When they saw the different cookie cutters that went along with our thematic units that we had learned about, they couldn't wait until we had a chance to bake with them.

The different cookie cutters were a wonderful motivator for the students. For example when we finished learning all about different kinds of clothing. The students were then able to make different types of clothing using the cookie dough and the special cookie cutters you got for us.

This year my new students will benefit greatly from your support. They will have an earlier opportunity to bake cookies in the classroom the go with the lessons we have learned about. They will get to make all kinds of balls, all kinds of vehicles that have wheels, trees and plants or even the letters in their names.”

  • Prize Power

    Funded Feb 12, 2024

I can't thank you enough for your generous contributions to make this prize project a reality. My students are working very hard to earn ten holes on their incentive card to get a prize from the treasure chest. Four children have already earned the right to go into the treasure chest to get a prize. There are three more students who are almost there and can't wait to choose a prize.

When the students first saw the prizes they were in awe. They loved the prizes and each prize that arrived seemed to be better then the prize before. There is a wonderful variety of toys that allows children to individualize their choice of their personal favorites.”

  • Sleepytime Friends

    Funded Jan 11, 2024

Some of the students are already using the cute and comfortable sleeping bags. They are enjoying how the sleeping bag feels on the cold hard cot they would otherwise have to sleep on. They absolutely love the cute characters as pillow like the shark, dog, unicorn, etc.

The students were ecstatic to see the different sleeping bags with fun characters as the pillow as they pulled them up from the boxes. They later discovered that the sleeping bag is like a little transformer that starts as a character like a shark with a tail and opens up into a sleeping bag where the tail is hidden on the backside. The boys and girls thought it was awesome.

My next project is Calming Soothing Stuff. This project will help the special needs children and those children who need help with their self control. Help me give my students some calming chairs, weighted vests, sensory fidget toys, and calming weighted stuffed animals.”

  • All Clean!

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

I have already used your amazing donations by giving 2 pants and 3 underwear to a child who had three accidents in three days and didn't have all the changes of clothing he needed after his accidents. This is a reality in my school in the pre-kindergarten classrooms. Not all students bring a change of clothing or if they have a change of clothing they may be missing underwear, socks, or even pants.

When the students opened the boxes they were a little disappointed to find sweatpants, underwear for boys and girls, and socks.

The Pre Kindergarten classrooms really appreciate your generous gifts. They have already come in handy and unfortunately they will continue to come in handy when the boys and girls have accidents and are missing changes of clothing.”

  • Pictures, Please

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations to purchase a color photo printer. The class has used it in many different ways. I now have been able to print color pictures, I can print color pictures of my students to display on bullitin boards, print color centers for my students, and print the student's pictures to match their name. The students have even created their own holiday gift for their parents (a picture of themselves next to a minature Christmas tree with ornaments in a handmade frame with a magnet on the back) as an ornament or magnet.

There are many uses for this printer. The biggest and most convientient being that I do not need to print pictures by the drug store anymore since I can print them out myself. I am very excited to do more projects with my students and incorporate more of them in it.”

    With gratitude,
