Mobility and Flexibility
Funded Dec 31, 2024Thank you for generous donation to this project.
As is evident from the pictures, this tool has truly helped me in my daily teaching.
Lots of classrooms in NYC schools are not that large. Combine that will a large class size, this desk gives me the mobility to move around the classroom in order to assist students with what they need in order to be successful.
Students also love to be able to use it as a podium in order to share their projects with their classmates.
Again, thank you for your very thoughtful and generous donation to our classroom to help make our lives just a bit easier.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Walter
Blue Light Glasses Shine
Funded Jan 14, 2025Your generosity is immeasurable.
You all came through to support your fourth grader when taking our state exams.
They spend lots of time on their computers throughout the day as well, and these important tools will make it much easier on their eyes.
Thank you again so much for your generous donation.”

Funded Sep 2, 2024Thank you so very much for your generous to help my sharpen our work with sharpened pencils.
I don't know about you but my students love to use brand-new sharpened pencils. the point makes them feel as if they are the king/queen of the world.
Students use pencils to jot down homework, solve math problems, create imaginative stories, and best of all they use them in order to share their thoughts and feelings with their classmates.
This brand of pencil is the only one that students will need to use! Ticonderoga is the titan of pencils.
Again, thank you for your generosity.”

Sustainable Book Baggies
Funded Jun 18, 2024Your generous donation has made it possible for my students to be avid readers.
Their daily visits to our classroom library has made this sustainable book baggy one of the most important pieces to their daily lives as readers.
Students are now bringing books from home in order to share them with their fellow classmates.
Fiction, Non-Fiction, Fantasy, and many others have taken a trip in this baggy thus far.
This sustainable book baggy has proven to be one of those items that the students can't live without as 4th graders.
Again, thank you for your generosity.”

Pocket Dictionary Prized Possessions
Funded Oct 22, 2023Years ago, everyone would always want the best dictionary, pocket or large in their home to assist them in making sure that words and language was used correctly.
Then, online versions appeared.
I believe it is important for children, no matter their level of ease with the internet to use a hand-held dictionary at all times.
Students love having this small and wonderful aid to assist them in creating beautiful stories, letters, poems, songs, and any other type of writing where they can share their love, thoughts, and feelings with others.
Thank you for your generous donations to this project.
It is greatly appreciated.”

A Rainbow Color Connection
Funded Oct 24, 2023When I first began my teaching career in the late 1980's, having a printer in the classroom was totally unheard of.
Then the era of computers and printing arrived. But again, for a long time, my classroom never even had a printer.
I am fortunate to have a regular black/white printer in the classroom.
Students keep asking and seeing other classrooms that somehow received a color printer......not ours.
Then, grateful for every single donor who gave to make sure that our classroom now has a state of the art color printer, where students will be able to showcase their wonderful work now IN COLOR!
Thank you does not seem sufficient enough.
We will always have our Rainbow Connection together.”

Organization Matters
Funded Sep 21, 2023As the school year begins, sometimes students do have difficulty in being able to purchase the school supplies that are necessary.
This year is no different.
It is very important for students to be able to learn how to organize things in their lives. Doing so in school is just as important, as it is doing so at home.
Students will learn how to organize in many different ways. Surely, a life-long skill that does not hurt to be learned at a young age.
Your generous donation has made that happen.
We can't thank you enough for donating to this special project.
You are the real heroes.”

Listen Closely!
Funded Jul 24, 2023As the school year begins, sometimes students do have difficulty in being able to purchase the school supplies that are necessary.
This year is no different.
As a school that has lots of technology and how our classrooms have become technology rich (post-pandemic), headphones are a necessity in every single classroom.
Your generous donation has made that happen.
Students do not need the most new-fangled headphones. As long as they do the job, that is what is important.
We can't thank you enough for donating to this special project.
You are the real heroes.”

Mrs. Walter
Post-It Proud!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you so very much for your generosity in order to assist children in recording their thoughts, feelings, ideas, and so many other things.
As young children, most times, they look for paper to draw pictures of their favorite things or items that they discover.
Children need to be shown how powerful words truly are.
Each and every week students create powerful messages that evoke love, kindness and respect to one another. This practice has grown in my classroom pre- and most importantly, post-pandemic.
Our country is going through some difficult times, but these children are the next generation to make a clear difference.
Having these post-its in the classroom will assist children in sharing their voices with one another.
Again, thank you for your generous donation to make this endeavor grown in boundless ways.”

Funded Jan 10, 2023Your generosity has changed my students lifestyle of reading and writing about reading.
Each child uses this special place to write about the books that they are reading.
Some have said, it could be used as a book itself to share with a peer or even a younger student in order to entice them into reading and to also write about reading.
They love sharing these written pieces of work with fellow readers to entice them into a particular book, series, and/or genre.
Thank you for assisting them into enhancing their love of reading with themselves, but better yet, with others.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Walter
