On behalf of me and my students at Richmond Hill High School, we thank you for your generous contributions. With your help we are now able to purchase some of the big ticket items on our wish list, thus enabling the robotic club students to begin learning and building robots. Our team number is 6593; please keep an eye out for us in upcoming robotics events in March 2017. Again, we are humbled by your generosity. We will try our utmost as a rookie team this coming year to compete against some of the top high school across the nation.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Con Edison and 10 other donors.

Students in the Robotics Club have a unique opportunity to take part in their first robotics competition and compete with some of the most advanced high school robotics teams in the country. To take advantage of this rare opportunity, the Robotics Club coach must purchase basic items that will allow his students to begin training. In robotics, it is critical that our students have the right tools in order to design and build robots from the ground up while improving their engineering skills. With these supplies, students have a real chance to rank highly in the competition, raising their confidence and encouraging them to take their robotics studies even further.
