  • A Cozy and JAWsome Classroom!

    Funded Aug 21, 2021

Thank you so much for all that you donated to help make our classroom a more special place. Teaching has been challenging the past few years and with all my students returning to the classroom, cozy spots couldn't be more perfect.

When the students walked in on the first day, they couldn't believe that their classroom wasn't the typical desks and chairs they imagined. Everyone wanted to chance to sit on the pillows and blue ottomans. When it's time to rotate seats, those are always everyone's first choice.”

  • It's All Fun and Games!

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

We absolutely LOVE all of the amazing games, toys and STEM building activities that you sent us. Of course it is important to learn academic skills, but part of our day is also spent on social emotional learning and learning through play... and your package has helped us do that! We are learning to share, be patient and use our imagination. This creativity that we get to explore during "Table Toys" or "Choice Time" spills our into our learning and allows us to think in a way we might not have been exposed to before.

Thank you so much for helping us have fun moments in our classroom. As far as our next steps? Look out for some amazing inventors, engineers and thinkers in our future. The world could certainly use it!”

  • Think Outside The Toy Box!

    Funded Sep 23, 2016

These toys are our absolute most favorite time of the day! I call it "Table Toys" and every day after lunch, students rotate to different stations to play, socialize and build with their friends. They come up with such amazing inventions and ideas that truly show off their creativity.

The students were SO happy to get these builders. They had these toys in the kindergarten classroom and when they saw each item come out of the box, everyone ooh-ed and aah-ed.

We appreciate all that you have done to help our classroom become a place filled with STEAM learning.”

  • Learning While Playing!

    Funded Aug 29, 2016

We are really thankful for your donation to our class! It has made our days brighter and our thirst for knowledge easier to fulfill! We were so excited to receive our package and watch our teacher pull out so many amazing items from the box!

We use your donations on a daily basis. We are working so hard to learn to read so that we can learn to read. We use the magnet letters each day during word study centers, reading time and our morning meeting. Morning meeting is also when we use our magnetic ten frames to practice counting by tens and recording the days of school. During math centers, we can play the games you got for us to become more fluent mathematicians.”
