  • Feeding Our Minds With A Snack A Day

    Funded Nov 7, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Moments like these remind me of the power of generosity and the impact it can have on young learners. Because of your thoughtful contribution, my students now have access to snacks throughout the day. For many of them, this is more than just a treat—it is a vital source of energy and focus that allows them to stay engaged and ready to learn. We often underestimate how much hunger can affect a student's ability to concentrate, participate, and thrive academically. A small snack can make a world of difference.

In our classroom, snack time has become an essential part of our routine. It provides not only nourishment but also a sense of security and care. For some students, having a snack at school fills a gap that might otherwise go unmet. This support fosters a positive learning environment where they can focus on their studies instead of their hunger.

Moreover, snacks have become a way to build community within our classroom. Sharing these moments together allows us to connect and strengthens the bonds between students. It's amazing to see how something as simple as a snack can bring so much joy and foster kindness among them.

Your generosity has had a direct and meaningful impact on my students. They feel valued and supported, knowing that there are people out there who believe in them and their potential. It's not just about the snacks—it's about the message that comes with them: that they are cared for and that their well-being matters.

Once again, thank you for your donation. You've made a tangible difference in the lives of my students, and your kindness will not be forgotten. Every smile, every moment of focus, and every connection made during snack time is a testament to the power of your contribution.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Taylor

  • Bringing in the 2024-2025 School Year With a Colorful Bang!

    Funded May 8, 2024

It's hard to say just how grateful I am for the donations made to this project. I know my students will be truly thankful and appreciative of the supplies. when the supplies arrived my students were so happy their faces lit up with huge smiles. Some of my students were unable to afford school supplies and they were so appreciative and grateful that there were supplies there waiting for them.

The folders are used for students writing. The students were allowed to decorate their folders and personalize them so they would be proud of the work that goes in their folders. It's so amazing watching my students enjoy the supplies.”

  • Feeding Our Minds With a Snack a Day

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation. When the boxes arrived at the school, the students were so excited; their faces lit up with smiles. Thanks to your donation, the students have been able to have snack time throughout the morning to help them remain focused. The snacks have also become a part of our class dojo store, and the students look forward to getting their weekly snacks. Nourishment is an essential component of my student's ability to focus throughout the day.

As we prepare for the end-of-the-year assessment, students are preparing to show the skills they have worked so hard on all year and show what they know. I am preparing to celebrate all my students' hard work this school year and have an end-of-the-year party. Again, thank you for your donation; we are forever grateful; thank you for believing in my students. You have made more of an impact than you know.”

  • Getting Comfy and Cozy While Learning

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We greatly appreciate what you have done for us from the bottom of our hearts, because of your generous donations my students are able to engage in flexible seating and get comfortable in class to truly reach the best learning potential. Seeing the smiles on my student's faces when the materials arrived just warmed my heart. The excitement and the cheers amongst them was amazing.

The pillows are often used during learning centers or peer teaching. During centers, students engage in independent work on the computer. some students use the. comfy pillows and choose a spot in the room to arrange it and start learning. During peer teaching, a student becomes the student teacher and they gather their students and sit on the pillows to teach a small group. Thank you again for the donations from the bottom of my heart we are forever grateful.”

  • Kapow! Bam! Color Ink!

    Funded Mar 2, 2022

Thank you all for your kind donations. My students were grateful and overjoyed when they saw the package arrive in the classroom. This project has allowed my students to use the laptops in class and print out their materials in color. This project has also allowed me to print visuals and charts for students with special needs.

The most exciting thing about the ink for my students is the fact that they can print it in color and in real-time. No more waiting for Ms. Taylor to go to Staples and print it out. They get so excited and their faces light up with smiles when they hand in their work!

This project has been such a blessing to my students and we couldn't thank you enough for donating to our classroom.”

  • Feeding Our Minds With A Snack A Day

    Funded Dec 15, 2021

I am so grateful that you all contributed to the project and helped it get fully funded for my students. Seeing the smiles on my student's faces when the snacks were delivered warmed my heart. It is always a blessing when my students know that other people believe in them. Because of your generous donations, my students were able to have not only a snack throughout the day during snack time but also take a snack home for those who needed it.

When my students saw the materials they were in complete shock, with smiles so bright they did not have to say a word the smile said it all. I am preparing a real-world project-based end-of-the-year unit where students can use the math skills that they learned throughout the year to create a "grocery" store in the class and students can earn and purchase the snacks in real-time.

Again, Thank you for donating to my students.”

I have the pleasure of working with students with disabilities in a self contained setting. My students have various disabilities that effect their ability to learn as well as their behavior. My students have difficulty retaining information and reading difficulties as well. My students also come from an area where there is a high level of poverty and this effects their social skills and self esteem. Despite the odds that my students face DAILY, they come to school ready to learn and put their best foot forward.
