Charging Station for Ipads
Funded May 4, 2021Thank you so much for helping us get our belkin tablet and IPad charger. We now have a complete set. It makes it so much easier for the kids to get out and put up their own IPad. Your generosity is a blessing. It is now labeled with numbers 1-20 for the 20 kids I have in my classroom every day. My class appreciates your donation and we all thank you. We hope you are blessed by blessing us. You all have helped us receive so many things for our classroom and we are so excited for all you have done for us.”

Funded Oct 22, 2020Thank you for the supplies from our funded project. I would love to tell you that we are using them daily but we have been shut down for a while and I'm hoping and praying the students come back to school soon to use them. I have a whole tub of dubble bubble that I just used today on a video to teach subtraction. I sent some home with the students in their goody bag at Christmas that their parents came and picked up. Our mouse has not been used, only by me. I am so thankful for your generosity and eagerly ready to get back to teaching students in a classroom rather than teaching to a screen daily. Thank you for giving!”

Funded Aug 11, 2020Thank you so much for your donation. We were able to fill a pencil box for 20 students filled with so much good stuff. Each child got a pencil box to take home for their at home learning. We are hybrid so the kids are at school 2 days and at home two days. Now they have a pencil box full of necessities at school and at home. This is such a blessing for all of the families in my classroom. Each student also got a handwriting booklet we did the 1st 2 weeks of school. They have a take home folder also. Again, thank you so much for your generosity.

Funded May 13, 2019Thank you so much for contributing to purchasing our Chromebook. We have been able to take AR tests and Star testing on them this first week of school. We are so thankful for your generocity! The kids have never used a laptop and think it is the coolest thing ever. We bought a wireless mouse to use and then we found out it was touchscreen. So awesome! We didn't know it was touchscreen, they are beyond excited. Again, our class wants to say thank you for being a blessing to our class, school, and community.”

The student's were so excited to get the new rug. The love counting on it. Thank you so much for blessing our classroom. We are very grateful to you for purchasing it. I announce have a seat on the carpet and they no longer fight over who sits where, who they are sitting next to, etc. They go to the rug and sit on their number. It's so easy and our rug is clean. Funded May 14, 2018Thank you so much for giving. The students love playing with the stem bins. They enjoy the hands on approach in learning. I will definitely have to order more. It is the first week of school and we quickly got these out to play while I tested each of them. They did amazing working on their own at their tables. They were excited to come into 1st grade with so many resources to use. The atmosphere in ky classroom is very uplifting. The students enjoy learning through play. Stamp It Out
Funded Nov 14, 2017Wow, we are in love with our new stamps. Every student has their own stamp set. We are learning how to spell and write sentences in class. My students love having something of their own. They take a lot of pride in their stamps. We practice our spelling words weekly with our stamp sets. The students each have 4 colors of ink they can pick from during their stamping time. We also received some sitting cushions that the students love to grab and find a place to read to themselves or a friend. We are so very grateful for your generosity. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May God richly bless you and your family.”

Art Across the Curriculum
Funded Oct 26, 2015Thank you again for your generosity in giving to our project Art Across the Curriculum. The class was so excited when our box arrived. I showed them everything we received and they could not wait to start creating. I had to come up with a few projects right away. We started with creating a flag for Veterans Day. The kids absolutely love the little stampers. They counted and dotted their way to 50 for the 50 stars on the American Flag.
I invited in parents at Christmas time to help with art projects in the classroom. Many of those parents used the paint in their projects. We created so many cute and fun things for our parents. I loved spending time and creating things with the kids. Each student did a fantastic job.
We have many more projects planned for the springtime. Spring brings bright colors, animals, Easter, sports, Valentine's Day, and many other holidays/special occasions for our class to use our creativity. I cannot say thank you enough for helping out our classroom.”

Writing Rotation Station
Funded Nov 10, 2015Thank you so much for giving to our Donor's Choose project Writing Rotation Station. The students love their new writing boards where they get to practice their spelling words and practice writing correct sentences. They use these boards once they finish their work, as a center. I love that they are beginning to have a love for writing.
We received the materials in the afternoon so I had to wait until the next morning to share everything with my class. We were so excited to open the new boards and we put them right to use practicing sentences.
Soon the students will have correct sentence structure down and we can begin writing in our Writing Journals we received. These journals have different writing prompts in them. I can't wait to see how their writing will improve once we start these. Again, thank you very much for helping our class learn by donating all these materials to our classroom.”
