  • Math Tools are Fun!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

    During the last semester of school, I was able to teach my 7th graders the standards involving circles. My 8th graders used these math tools when they were learning the standards involving degrees, circles, lines segments, and angles.

    The best part of this donation was that students were able to keep their math tools when school ended. Students who decided to continued their education using the this new method have the opportunity to work on math using these tools from home.

    Students still come in for help in math and they still have and use their tools today.”

  • Chromebooks are Needed!

    Technology is expanding everyday. Donors like you, made it possible for more of my students to enhance their technology experience. Since, I am a math teacher, students are able to use math programs such as; Next Generation math and multiplication.com. More school are using "Google Classroom" to protect the earth (less copies) and keep up with the upcoming expectations from the professional world. You made it possible for them to experiment and practice.

Thirty our of our thirty-six classroom Chromebooks aren't working. I put in a service request two months ago and they haven't yet been fixed. My students need these requested two Dell Chromebook laptops to practice and prepare for the upcoming state test. The district is beginning to have students take tests online and my students need Chromebooks to practice on. They need to feel comfortable cutting, pasting, highlighting, and typing their sentences or essays online. Websites, such as Nitrotype, allows them to practice typing while having fun. These Dell Chromebooks will definitely help my students obtain higher scores. I only want the best for students.
