My second grade students come to school everyday full of energy and excitement. They arrive with many stories to tell, and many questions they want answered. They are always looking forward to what new and exciting things we will learn. They immediately want to explore and seek answers. I teach in a Title 1 school which means most of my students receive free or reduced lunch.
My goal is to make our classroom a place they love to be. I want my students to feel comfortable, happy, and accepted into our classroom. I want them to LOVE to learn!
My goal is for them to develop math, literacy, science, writing, and social skills . I want them to figure out how to work together and get along, but also how to be independent. My goal is for them to develop all these skills (and more) all while having fun together. These are skills that they will use throughout school and life. I want it to be AMAZING and MEMORABLE!!!
