I have 11 kiddos in my new 4th grade class and 6 kiddos in 2nd grader. It is a resource room with varying disabilities such as Visual impairments, Autism, Intellectual Disorders, Downs Syndrome and Specific Learning Disabilities. My class is a wonderful community that likes to laugh and stay active. Being special needs my kids need to be surrounded with different learning styles. They absolutely love having hands on learning with manipulative's that are fuzzy and they can feel and move around. Auditory and visual actives are an everyday adventure. We utilize our smart board everyday for Reading circle, calendar and math lessons. While learning the core curriculum my learners also need to learn life skills, socialization and behavior control. We have many dreams and need your help to achieve them!
