  • Flexible Seating/Standing Desk

    Funded May 4, 2021

On this day of teacher appreciation, I can't tell you how much I feel appreciated. It is just a blessing to be loved and supported by this community. My students and I truly enjoy all of your generosity. We cannot thank you enough. I hope that we can continue to count on you.”

    With gratitude,

  • Socially Distanced Seating

    Funded Dec 9, 2020

Thank you so much for your continued support of my classroom. This year has been so exceptionally hard for everyone, especially the students. My students have, finally, returned to the classroom and they are so excited to see all the new seating options. I am so grateful for all the variety of furniture and seating options because it allows for physical distancing and still provides a warm, comfortable environment for learning. My students and I are incredibly thankful for your generosity during these unprecedented times.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Robles

  • Distance Learning in Color!

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

My students and I have been struggling through this unprecedented year. It has had many highs and many, many lows. It has been the most challenging year I have ever had in my eight years of teaching. Through all of the difficult times, I have asked for the materials that my students have needed to make distance learning easier, to make the curriculum more accessible, and to make learning from home engaging, and, no matter what I have asked for, this community has provided. Thank you. There are not enough words for how grateful and humbled I am by your generosity. My students and I are surviving this pandemic school year because of you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Robles

  • Organizing Distance Learning

    Funded Aug 28, 2020

This school year has been extremely challenging for everyone involved. I think that the parents, the administration, and the teachers have all found that this situation has been less than ideal. But thanks to your generosity and support, my students have the necessary materials that they need to be successful. I have created writing kits and packets labeled in folders to help my students stay organized while working from home. They are even saying how excited they are to pick up their packets and do their work. It has made this year a little less stressful for all of us. Thank you, truly.”

  • Seating 4 Social Distancing

    Funded Jun 23, 2020

Because of the continued generosity of this amazing resource, I have been able to set up all these different areas in my classroom to accommodate the socially distancing guidelines. The new table and rug are a really nice addition and I can't wait for students to return to my classroom. I know that they are going to love the new additions as much as I do. The new area is going to have students fighting over who gets to sit in those new chairs because there are only two of them. I know that my students will appreciate that they have seating options in the classroom. Having to spend so much time in one seat makes it hard for a lot of students, so by providing multiple areas with different seating options, hopefully, it will make the time more enjoyable. The areas will also make the physical distance necessities seem less daunting. We appreciate your continued generosity and support of our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Robles

  • Classroom Learning to Homeschooling

    Funded Aug 3, 2020

Because of your amazing generosity, these packets of materials are being organized to be sent home next Friday. I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for my students and myself. It is going to make this school year begin with less confusion and chaos than the transition to distance learning in the spring.

Now, my students and I are prepared to begin #distancelearning2020 in the most productive and organized way that we can. We have all the necessary supplies to hit the ground running. I can't wait to get started and see all of my students faces again (even if it is through zoom). Thank you again for helping the 2020-2021 school year be the best it can be.”

  • Lord of the Flies

    Funded Mar 5, 2020

Thank you for donating these books to my students. Because of your generosity, I was able to send a copy of "Lord of the Flies" home for my students to read and enjoy. We may not be in the school building but, because of you, learning materials went home to my students. They are really enjoying this novel and it is at a perfect time in history for them to be reading it. My students are using this novel to think about what makes a society and what it is about their own society that they value and miss. Being isolated from their friends is giving each student ampable opportunities to formulate their own understandings and new ideas about the world they want to live in. It is awesome!”

  • Reading Nook & Amazing Books

    Funded Oct 9, 2019

My students absolutely love the new reading nook. They show up to class early so that they can be the first to ask to sit and read there. The space only allows for a few students, so they rush in, hoping that day they can be the few that enjoy it. I love seeing how happy the area makes them and how much they truly enjoy using it. I know that my students appreciate that you took the time to help their classroom be the most amazing place that it can be. They need this safe and happy place to learn and grow and you made it all possible. For that, I can never thank you enough.”

  • For the Love of Literature

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

With each novel, my students and I start a new journey of discovery in my classroom. The sense of excitement and wonder is palpable. We look forward to reading all the books that have been donated. My students and I are lucky to have such caring and generous benefactors. They know that they are loved. My students and I are extremely grateful for the generosity and love that you have shown us. Thank you for your continued support. I hope that you can take the time to look at future projects that we will be involved in.”

  • Learning With Legos

    Funded Nov 15, 2018

I wish you could have been in my classroom today. I have never seen a group of students so focused on the task in front of them. They worked together as a team, they problem-solved, they were democratic about choosing the best ideas, and they engineered solutions. I can't tell you how hard it is to get a group of adolescents to work cooperatively and creatively without bickering. The project has been a huge success and I cannot thank you enough! My students are learning valuable skills that will improve their chances for future success.

I know that my students are immensely thankful for this opportunity and I hope that you will continue to support our classroom in the future.”
