I teach at a small intellectual STEM school with big dreams. Our curriculum is mastery-based and we are committed to success for all of our students. Students who are able can accelerate their learning and begin taking college courses early and students who need more time to become proficient in their coursework have the time to do so. My chemistry, physics and robotics classes feature writing, inquiry- and project-based learning with a goal of improving communication and critical thinking skills. Our second cohort of students began their studies this school year. I will be working to add technology and materials for relevant, authentic projects to my curriculum this year.
