Currently, there is not much available to students by way of technology at our school. My goal with this project is to bring some iPads into the classroom so that I can begin broadening their experiences and prepare them for the world around us. I plan to utilize the tablets for educational games, interactive class activities such as centers, and many other ways. I have several activities such as review games and independent work that would be improved with access to iPads. I have my eye on several learning games as well as interactive apps that would bring richness to the classroom. I also hope to use them to give my kids experience with the technology itself as well, whether it's through typing, searching, researching. Technology integration is crucial for children nowadays, and I want to be able to provide the best I can for them. They have such curious minds, I want to be able to push them to explore beyond the borders of our classroom.
