I am a middle-school teacher of literacy. I believe literature is an art, and when students view it as an art, they become much more willing to experiment with their analysis and writing about literature. Many of my students' parents are firefighters or police officers. Our school is IB, and is innovative, with student collaboration and engagement at the forefront of learning.
